I am not going to blame the mother for this. Ultimately, Donald chose to do what he did, and he had PLENTY of time to change his mind, or back out.

I am watching the trial right now (not live), of the videos at Walmart and such, and it's so, so weird to me how the girls are just running around. They are ALL over the place, sometimes a good distance away from mom. I can't imagine this. I have 4 kids, and they stand NEXT TO ME when I am shopping. If they start to wander, they go in the basket immediately, or they hold my hand. I can't imagine just letting my kids run all over the place like that. Too many scary people out there... obviously.

He was going to do more than flash her! He wanted her IN that van for a reason!

I've stopped listening. It's the same nonsense. I'll just wait for the cross.

Doesn't think he's psychotic or suffering from real depression.

Tweet from @schindy (Sorry, I don't know how to insert a tweet here.) https://twitter.com/schindy

"I don't know of any behavior that screams of behavior control more than chasing children down the street in broad daylight to take them back to you van" Dr Sesta testifies"

Behavior control...predator...tomato/tomato.

What's up with the lady behind DS? She's sporting unusual attire from the neck up.

Get rid of these doctors please. If we are bored here as crime buffs, how bored must the jury be? The "lets baffle them with science" isn't working. It's more like "let's let the jury have some beauty sleep while we bore the pants off them" before Nelson comes flying in like a hurricane and destroys these "experts". I can see the prosecutions arguments being far more compelling, and far more impactful on this jury (who I personally believe would have voted for death last week when the trial ended).

I think she's a courtroom artist.

They are probably sawing logs, but it would have been worse if they brought him on AFTER lunch!

Sesta testifies #DonaldSmith killed Cherish because "there's no way to impose that kind of anatomical trauma to a little girl & expect it to go undetected. you cant expect to do what he did to Cherish and get away with it. the only thing he could do is take her life" @FCN2go

Lunch break, back at 1:15. Attorneys going over jury instructions later this afternoon, so looks like closings & deliberations start tomorrow.

Y’all I am finally all caught up. I didn’t follow this case as closely in the beginning as it was too hard for me. My daughter was born January 2013, and when this happened in June, I was just too torn up about it. I am so glad the jury came back so quickly. This case makes me question what can truly be considered justice, if closure is possible and makes me wonder how many people like DS are out there waiting for a chance to strike.
