Started watching this but found it sickening that the defence are going to blame the victim for his own death and make Courtney out to be the victim. Seems to me that the magnitude of digital evidence shows her as the abuser, the instigator and the person with the power in this relationship. from what I have seen from Christian, he is generally trying to protect himself and de-escalate. I get that they need to mount a defence but the way the D were talking about this all turned my stomach.
I think Courtney had some significant substance and mental health issues co-occurring during the time and could not regulate her anger and was out of control. I wonder if she has received any treatment while in jail. I think she should plead. Guilty, do a decent time and find her remorse. And take note of Sarah Boone’s sentence.
