FL FL - Cieha Taylor, 28, dropped off bf, car found on tracks, Plant City, 6 Feb 2020 *Reward*

I’m confused. Coward Rd and Trapnell are actually INSIDE city limits, not OUTSIDE. I thought PCPD was handling Ceiha’s case, did it get shifted to HCSO. I must have missed that.

Hmmm...good question!
I may be wrong; I’ll go back through some posts & recheck but I was under the following impression:
The HCSO has handled Cieha’s case from the beginning.
Here is one of the articles released at the very beginning of her disappearance by HCSO.

Missing Endangered Adult | HCSO, Tampa, FL

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance to locate a woman reported missing last Thursday.

I was also under the impression PCPD’s involvement consisted of the policeman coming across Cieha’s car and moving it, as well as the internal investigation into that matter.

Again, I could be mistaken. I’m going to read back through some posts to check.

This is related to a previous “theory” I posted up thread.
Could it be possible that the reason for the Plant City policeman moving then leaving Cieha’s car is due to miscommunication of some sort with HCSO?

I found this link. You have to scroll down the page to the section that is titled Points of Interest.
There is a map which includes Plant City city borders. You can zoom in close enough to view and follow streets. I found West Trapnell to be within city limits, however East Trapnell was outside the city border.

Finding Cieha

July 12 (9 hours ago)
It’s been 157 days since Cieha Annette Taylor went missing in Plant City FL after dropping off her boyfriend at a friends home. She has not been seen since then. Her car was found 3 hours later around the block abandoned with her belongings inside by a Plant City Police Officer. The vehicle was found outside of Plant City PD Jursdication. Hillsborough County Sheriff Office is conducting the investigation. Ciehas case is still open and an ongoing investigation 5 months later.

Our family is devastated there have been no new leads and little to no information given to us by HCSO.

Cieha’s Mother Canitha is in a photo shared at the end of this post. It was taken where Cieha’s car was abandoned.

Finding Cieha

Under July 12 posts, “Finding Cieha” pg addressed a few questions or concerns:
•human & sex trafficking has been known in Plant City motels and that angle has already been looked into concerning Cieha’s disappearance.
•They do know that the boyfriend and his friend have been interviewed numerous times. They also understand circumstances do point to them at times however they do NOT want to speculate.
•They are going off what info LE has shared plus facts they have learned themselves to think of any possible circumstances to her missing
•The family is aware that a human head (gender belonging to unknown) was found in Pennsylvania, FL.
•They’ve asked any citizen who wants to may write or email the HCSO with any concerns, etc if they feel it will help.
•And lastly, since LE has not released the names or photos of the boyfriend or friend, the page has chosen not to.

This case is still mind-boggling.

Who leaves a car behind, with the engine running, on the tracks themselves? Not beside them or further up the road.

In my opinion, no one, unless they felt their life was in danger. I think the driver, which may or may not have been her, slowed down to cross the tracks and the perp saw an opportunity. Maybe she was snatched right out of the driver’s seat. Maybe she bolted in fear of a passenger’s behavior. What ever happened, she felt her personal items were less important than her safety. That is if, and that’s a big IF, she was originally in the car.

Cieha has been missing for 162 days......
The video included in the post previously aired on ABC Action News on February 25, 2020. It may be worth watching again IMO. It shows the area she was last seen in...I believe it shows the house she dropped the boyfriend off at. It also shows the road & tracks her car was found.

Finding Cieha

July 18
163 days...... The Hillsborough County Sheriff office knew Ciehas car was found abandoned on the train tracks on Thursday February 06, 2020 by a Plant City Police Officer and moved to the side of the road and locked with her belongings inside. Ciehas family wasn’t notified until a family friend located Ciehas car on Sunday February 09, 2020 abandoned on the side of the road. HCSO did not start investigating Ciehas disappearance until 4 days later on Monday February 10, 2020.

163 days...... Of agony not knowing where our girl is.

163 days...... Of unanswered questions.

We desperately need answers. We need to find our girl. We need her home.

Cieha Annette Taylor missing and loved. Cieha was last seen in Plant City Florida on Thursday February 06, 2020. Our families hearts are broken. We are devastated this is something we would never wish on anyone. We’ve received little to know updates on Ciehas case. Ciehas case is still an open and ongoing investigation. We understand the detectives cannot share every single detail with us. It’s just so hard not knowing.

Please join us in solidarity for Cieha on Saturday August 8, 2020 at 6pm for a candlelight prayer vigil for Cieha.

We pray and hope our girl is found before this event. If that is not the case this will be the 6 month since Cieha has been missing.

We know no matter how bold our requests may seem God can do all we ask and so much more! If we touch and agree he will answer our prayers. We are praying for answers. We are praying the Lord will lead us in the right direction to find our girl.

If you are unable to come please take a moment of silence and say a prayer or light a candle wherever you are to stand in solidarity with us.

Finding Cieha

July 25
It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 6 months since we last saw you or spoke to you. Time is flying by however we can’t move on. We’re stuck in a sense because we are lost without you. We are grieving a loss not knowing where you are, what happened to you or if we will ever see you again. The unknown is devastating and heartbreaking. We just don’t know! Society does not prepare you on how to live/deal with or simply navigate life with a missing loved one.

Cieha Annette Taylor has been missing since Thursday February 06, 2020. She was last seen dropping off her boyfriend at a friends home on Cowart and Trapnell Rd in Plant City FL around 4pm. Her car was found abandoned a block away 3 hours later at 7pm. What happened in those 3 hours???? She has not been seen or heard from since then.

One thing we do know is people don’t just disappear. Someone somewhere knows something. Please if you are that person that knows anything at all that can help us bring our girl home please find it in your heart to come forward and say something. Please reach out to us or call the HCSO Anonymous with a tip 813-247-8200. Please help us find Cieha and bring her home.

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. Our family needs answers. Our family needs closure.

I wonder if this is her:

Body of woman found in Charlotte County off Kings Highway; death considered suspicious

Approximately 1.5 hour drive from Plant City to Port Charlotte. I know exactly where that location is.
The Charlotte County Sheriff's Dept FB post doesn't have an update as to the ID. The commenters are thinking more along the lines of Lauren Dumolo from Cape Coral. However, in Lauren's thread, it's been mentioned that it is not her.

Hm, I had to read about Lauren's case - thanks!
