There is no mention of a clavicle fracture in the Crescent Beach Female. I think that would rule Joy out. Do you agree?

I think that there is an unidentified female with a clavicle fracture in FL on Namus but I would have to go through the list again.

I suspect they can't determine more than "adult woman."

The early estimate often gets refined when they get detailed forensic results back. I would say the later estimate is more likely to be accurate. But that's just my opinion.

Which estimate is the latest. Namus says 30-50

I personally have had better luck emailing. If I don't get a response I wait a few weeks and follow up with another email. Some people prefer to call. I guess it just depends on the contact person...

Could this be her? There is no much to go on but not much to rule her out.

Yes, and since she disappeared with a car, it's possible she wound up in Florida. She's only marginally younger than the 20-40 age range, and went missing in the right time frame. I think she has the same general look.

I assume they figure she had time to acquire them in the three years between when she went missing and when the UID was found. So I think you're right not to rule out based on head injury alone.

I was checking out Nellie Flickinger relative to another case: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/f/flickinger_nellie.html

Nellie had extensive injuries from a motorcycle accident, including surgical hardware of some sort in her leg (unspecified which one). While the UID has broken both ankles, there's no mention of hardware. Also, Nellie was 5'3" while the UID is estimated at 5'7". Too far off to submit?

I'd say something in between -- names, pointers to their Namus, Charley, and Doe entries, and maybe a note about similarities.

Considering Florida's track record on checking on submissions, it might be a good idea to submit them to the missing persons side as well.

So it seems likely that she had some head Trama. So I would presume that she was treated in an emergency room.

This procedure is usually a life saving measure. Often some brain damage has already occurred. Generally the person remains hospitalized. After a few months the bone is replaced or a fabricated piece is inserted. It seems that that did not happen here so she may have left care against medical recommendations.

From the images shown on her page, Aleca's teeth don't match up with the UID's at all. This UID has distinctive teeth.

The injuries listed on this UID were healed injuries, ones that occurred some time prior to her death. A car accident occurring a short time before or at the time of death wouldn't allow for healed injuries.

That beach is off the beaten path. Most people who go there are from the Gainesville area where the University of Florida is and from communities east on the route they take.
Highway 26 to Highway 100 or Highway 20, then Highway 207 to Highway 206. Turn right on A1A and go about 1/2 mile to get to the ramp.

People from the Orange Park area go to St. Augustine or Jacksonville Beach. People from Ocala (and Crescent City) go to Flagler or Daytona Beach.

I'm not sure if that's of any help to you or not.
