Hmmm, why do you feel this way?

She certainly seemed to be able to do so with Charlie. She was calling the shots there.

True, and now that I think about it, she really is the one with the most power right now. She SHOULD try to drive a hard bargain.

She will definitely push for everything she can get, but the prosecutor has very strong leverage in the capital murder charge.

If KM flips, the question is how many of the As will be charged.
JMO, Speculation.

I think initially it will only be CA and DA. It will take a while longer to charge WA, and even longer for HA, if at all.

They all need separate counsel. Presumably, they have that lined up.
JMO, speculation.

Oh, I bet it's been lined up for about the past two years.

I suspect Katie will drive a hard bargain.
Yep, KM will probably drive a hard bargain.

The state wants the A’s. I wonder if the state would give KM decades of probation and no prison for her truthful testimony against the A’s.

KM goes free, but at least CA and DA get life in prison or death.

It will be interesting to find out what KM knows about the involvement of WA and HA in the murder plan.

http://abovethelaw.com/2016/08/the-dan-markel-murder-case-the-adelson-family-speaks/

"Wendi Adelson is represented by John Lauro, the veteran trial lawyer and former federal prosecutor who has successfully handled numerous high-profile cases during his more than thirty years of practice (as discussed in this New York Times profile).

Charlie Adelson is represented by David Oscar Markus and Margot Moss, of Markus/Moss, and Michael D. Weinstein, who has his own firm in Fort Lauderdale. Markus, despite his youth (a 1997 Harvard Law grad), is regarded as one of the nation’s leading criminal defense lawyers. Moss, a past president of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, worked as a public defender for more than a decade, during which she tried over 100 cases. Weinstein, who has previously spoken on the family’s behalf, is a seasoned trial lawyer and longtime friend of Charlie Adelson.

Harvey and Donna Adelson are represented by Daniel Rashbaum and Jeff Neiman of Marcus, Neiman & Rashbaum. Rashbaum is a former federal prosecutor who conducted more than 30 jury trials as an assistant U.S. attorney (never losing a case that went to verdict); prior to serving as an AUSA, he practiced at Skadden Arps and Morvillo Abramowitz. Neiman is also an experienced trial lawyer and former federal prosecutor, with additional experience at Main Justice (where he participated in the Attorney General’s Honors Program)."

What a turn of events! It doesn't seem right that Riveria only got Seven years for participating in a murder! Twelve or fourteen added to his current record would have been better. At least a few more years than his current sentence - a reminder as to what crime he participated in. Just my opinion, I bet he would have taken a few more years rather than face trial and possible conviction.

Oh well, this way there is no doubt about another jury in Florida and what they might decide! His turning on Garcia and KM is the first step to see the actual conniving A's charged and arrested in the murder of an innocent successful man and father. What a legacy to give your grandsons!

Dang. Ole Donna was using Harveys phone to discuss murder.

She even allowed the Hitman Garcia to have Harveys number to discuss things pertaining to the hit.

Meanwhile Harvey is bewildered why the police singled his number out. Lol

So Harvey wasn't mad about the murder.

He was just mad that his wife gave the murderer his personal number.

Lol.

I can't imagine no prison. I can stomach 7 years tacked on to LR's original sentence, but only probation for KM? No, I can't abide that.
JMO, speculation.

I don't know.....wasn't Harvey in one of the surveillance videos out of reach of audio.....? Seems to me he was in on at least some of it.

I think that was when the family was discussing the blackmailer. But that was way after Garcia called that number.

I can, if it means the A's get nailed. Their breathtaking arrogance...

We have to hope that regardless of the experienced lawyers the A's have representing them, the hard work that the TPD has done to put these pieces together, will be strong enough to stand on its own merit to convict everyone involved in planing this murder.

Money does not give you the power to execute a person! A successful business does not make you a judge as to who will be eliminated from this earth. Mother A. must have a very strong controlling hand on her two adult children.

Now we wait. . . . . . for the next arrest.

I agree. It's more important to convict the masterminds than the hired hands this time.

Charlie is going to take the hit and defend mom and sis.

He was on tape talking about getting someone murdered as well if KM couldn't take care of it.

So Charlie thinks hes Michael Corleone or something. But I doubt he will snitch on Moms.
