I believe it's that LR was the trigger man, and not him.
IIRC -- Yes, and that SG wasn't present at all at the murder (not driving the car). Claims that LR would have hired a Latin King to help with the murder and SG only thought he was going to Tally for a drug deal. JMO.

I missed a bunch. Did they play the wiretap of CA and KM at the restaurant?

No. And the transcript was not allowed, so that is not a part of this trial.

I don’t think the state will test today.

This cross seems to be going nowhere. JMO.

Zabaneh is grasping for anything cause he's got nothing substantial to use to defend his client.

Also, I believe at one point he was "cross examining" the witness and said "in summation...". I can't remember what the judge said when he stopped him, but I laughed!

It's crazy the things he's bringing up, making it seem like they are important because of the sound of his voice. He's all over the place and it seems like his whole defense tactic is to confuse the jury into thinking there's reasonable doubt since he's talking like there is......

There are a ton of conversations involving Magbanua that try to pinpoint who is calling and what they want. #MarkelMurderTrialWTXL @abc27

Karl Etters‏Verified account @KarlEtters 2h2 hours ago
Up next we'll hear the Dolche Vida tape of a conversation between Charlie Adelson and Magbanua

Karl Etters‏Verified account @KarlEtters 2h2 hours ago
But jurors will not get a transcript of the tough to hear video

Julie Montanaro WCTV‏Verified account @JulieMontanaroW 2h2 hours ago
Judge will allow jurors to see secret restaurant recording, but not transcript of the “hard to hear” portions @WCTV

Karl Etters‏Verified account @KarlEtters 2h2 hours ago
You're going to want to watch the live stream for that video. It's pretty integral to this case

Karl Etters‏Verified account @KarlEtters 1h1 hour ago
But first we'll have to listen to Charlie Adelson ask Magbanua whether she'd rather spend the night with T.I. or Jesus

Jada E. Williams‏ @JadaEWilliams 2h2 hours ago
Magbanua again wonders if someone is trying to be an informant. Says there are people you think you can trust but you can't. Charlie Adelson agrees. "Could be someone reading the newspaper and playing games." #MarkelMurderTrialWTXL @abc27

Garcia tells officers he's never been to Tallahassee. When asked if he knows a Luis Rivera, he says he knows a couple. #MarkelMurderTrialWTXL @abc27

Jada E. Williams‏ @JadaEWilliams 46m46 minutes ago
"If I could help, I would be more than happy to."- Sigfredo Garcia to investigators after they approached him at work. #MarkelMurderTrialWTXL @abc27

Jada E. Williams‏ @JadaEWilliams 37m37 minutes ago
Garcia tells authorities he's never heard of Dan Markel nor his murder. #MarkelMurderTrialWTXL @abc27

Garcia was arrested a day later at a gas station. #MarkelMurderTrialWTXL @abc27

Absolutely nowhere!!! I think Cappleman could have objected so many times due to lack of relevance but she's just letting him sink.

I don’t think the state will test today.

Not unless they go late. But I agree, it will probably not be until tomorrow morning.

How did LR know DM? Where's the connection? I don't think the jury is going to "buy straw hats in the winter time."

Shoot. If I were in that jury - I don’t think it would matter much who was the trigger man. They both are guilty IMO. SG was hired to do it —-and he accepted the job!

IIRC, they're claiming that LR was CA's drug dealer (although I don't recall any evidence in the trial so far to support that) ... and I guess they're also claiming that CA hired LR directly to do the hit. That's my understanding of SG's defense theory. Playing up the Latin King bad guy scenario. JMO.

This is a bit preposterous. But I guess whatever they can throw up on the wall to hopefully stick. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but there's no evidence of direct communication between LR and CA.

Yes, that's my understanding -- no evidence of direct LR/CA communication. JMO.

I am starting to feel like Z's voice sounds like the parents in the Peanuts cartoon...wah wah wah wah...

No. And the transcript was not allowed, so that is not a part of this trial.

Since judge approved it, I thought they were going to play it even though the transcript wasn't allowed. Darn.

I thought so, too.

Yeah, I agree. If I'm on that jury I'm like, "C'mon.....I have my Meatless Monday soup in the crockpot and I don't want it to stick on....."

The defense just proved Wendi a liar by saying the Adelsons are "multi multi millionaires." Thanks, dude.

What is a "perspective standpoint?"

Taking 10 minute break. Guess they are going late.
