If any of the Adelsons are indicted and brought to trial. Then can the wire taps which were not allowed just involving them and presently in the States possession which were attempted to be admitted in this case be admitted in their case(2)?

I would imagine. I was surprised they let that CA/DA conversation in just before lunch since neither of them are in the courtroom. I wonder why that one was allowed in and others have not been?

Yes. You're right. And everyone, but especially CA, is now relegated to a pawn in this drama. CA is taking all the blame and trying to absolve his mother. And it sounds like WA did the same. According to June, WA was getting mad at CA when this whole thing exploded. Mother and daughter are ready to throw CA to the wolves.

eta: Hmmm I wonder if that's why WA was dropping crumbs about CA's involvement. Setting the stage. Distancing herself from the whole thing. Very sick family!

eta: Why is CA comforting DA like she has such a hard life? What's hard about her life? She works part-time in her husband's dentist office. I mean you'd think she was running the country the way he was comforting her. What he's really doing is telling her don't worry you're not guilty or responsible for this and you have nothing to feel bad about. Assuaging her conscience.

The judge explained that this morning, but I lost my notes. But I did notice within Court just now, when they say who verified and it was windy, Garcia's attorney said in a surprise voice softly" Wendy did it? " Then, objection!

If I recall correctly, CA/DA conversation is allowed because it's not being offered for the truth being asserted - that's one of the bypasses to heresy. It's being offered to show the effect on the participants. In any case, it wasn't true that the situation was handled and that calls were made to the number from the "bump." Which prosecution has already put into evidence. So this is just to see how these people are acting and it's very telling.

It's interesting that the father is also checked out of this whole thing. The mother seems to be the locus. Both her children revolve around her and do her bidding. I'm betting DA is the one that instigated this whole thing. She wanted her grand-kids close to her.

Interesting in the call from Charlie to his mother he kept talking about under cover cops, north of 5th south of Fifth, and if you get one person to talk they don't necessarily roll on each other. He said that's not the way it works mom.

And then he talks about I think there's more chance of Li***ln losing an eyeball than this happening. He's bringing Windy's son's name (iirc) into it and making a swear against her son as to telling the truth!

Yeah, if you take the whole murder thing out of the equation, she's just a young woman who got her heart broken and sees her dreams (child, dog, etc.) being lived out by someone else.

Her time will come though.....she'll find someone WAY better than Charlie. Someone who won't cheat on her with women from the Philippines, Texas, Colombia......

After reading through that, I wonder if Charlie is paying his attorney double and somehow his attorney is paying KM's attorney under the radar.

I just read the entire thing. It’s really quite sad - the way her mind thinks. I feel kinda sad for her. It’s like she hasn’t really moved on and wants to see the best in CA and still has hope. She’s struggling though because of , the baby mama, and the baby she and CA had together. I wish someone would tell her that she is worth so much more and that CA is a BAD BAD person. If I were her - I’d quit talking and texting him COMPLETELY! He’s NOT worth it. I know he caused her a lot of heartache, but it’s time for her to cut him off completely so that she can move on with her life.

DA's attitude is obnoxious. Her passive aggressiveness makes me want to slap her.

The smartest thing that KM and SG did was to not call the number. So they're all lying to each other whilst covering up the conspiracy. It's also clear that CA is trying to distance himself from the whole thing by having KM/SG do the dirty work. He's cajoling KM like she's a child. His manipulations are so obvious. I feel like KM knows what he's up to. But she's also manipulating SG and distancing herself from it all. DA is totally detached on the phone with her son, communicating to him that she wants him to deal with it.

In a strange way, CA seems to be getting played by his mother in all of this. She's likely the one that's manipulated him onto committing this crime. And now that the pressure is on, DA has abandoned CA and he's on his own to figure this all out. That's what I'm reading between the lines but I could be way off!

I think st this point - DA is zonked out on a lot of painkillers and Xanax. In June’s meeting with LE - she told them that DA has to take meds because of the stress.

This morning, they kicked out a lot of the phone calls which were taped. I was surprised and was concerned.

Listening to the ones that are now back to back, it is even more clear and less confusing without the ones that were kicked and objected to by the defense.
