I know I’m way late to the game with this but why would Kawass keep saying KM’s children’s names?!

I would think to gain sympathy for this poor, single, mom. She tried very hard today, to let the jury know KM’s mother died recently. But Judge H wouldn’t allow it.

SG and LR were chumps, Dumb and Dumber. She got them to take care of the problem up north.

So, has this grim reality been sinking in to SG during the trial? The reality that he's been snookered all along? First, being dumped by his wife in her search for the good life, and then setup for a murder on behalf of same person for which he will get the death penalty? And, all for what - her free meals, bigger 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬, whiter teeth, a used Lexus, and a few tens of thousands of dollars? Perhaps to fulfill her dream of sailing off into the sunset together? And, in public testimony, her implication that SG and CA were interacting directly without her? When I look at SG in the courtroom these days, he's not making any eye contact with KM. That's over - all I see is rage. I remember a jailhouse phone call between SG and KM from a few years ago, where SG believes that his time in jail will be limited and once out they can resume their relationship together. And, she goes along with him on his dream, knowing all along that's not gonna happen. Anybody have a link to that? Delusion. Totally played.

This is an extreme example - but a similar dance goes on in so many people's lives. Trust - but verify.

And, all these deals were being made between CA and KM while CA was bonking JU?
Note to June U -- thank your lucky stars you are out. Never look back!

Wait Wait Wait....I for one have NOT picked up on this.....

So you're saying they went up to Tallahassee not knowing it was a relative of CA they were killing? SG only found out after the fact CA related to all this?
When did WA/CA/DM become big news in Florida after the hit? LR/SG must known pretty early who was who.

She needed the money for breast implants to which she had been saving up for, and she didn't have enough money for health insurance for her kids though..
Exactly!! She is sooo selfish!! I feel awful for her children with her as their mother.

I'd love to hear that phone call too!

Here is the summary of my impression with regards to the Florida lawyers involved. From start, the contrasts between the Miami/Tamarac people and the Tallahassee people have been blatant.

Judge James C. Hankinson is an alumnus of The Florida State University College of Law. This Judge is a member of the Special Committee on Criminal Justice, charged with supervising tentative reforms. The Judge appears to be very competent. He tells jurors to bring an overnight bag since they will be sequestered; and, I like that initiative.

Georgia Anne Cappleman, of the Office of the State Attorney in Tallahassee, is also an alumna of The Florida State University College of Law. While the Judge appears to be competent, the State Attorney has bad manners. E.g., she scanty stood when addressing or being addressed by the Judge. At times, she makes intempestive objections. At other opportune times, she stays mute. A couple of times, the Judge said “I awaited some objections but everyone stayed quiet.”

DeCoste’ s spoken usage and court manner is encapsulated with this exchange. DeCoste: "it is the Federal Bureau of Investigation, not the Federal Bureau of Imagination, right?". The witness: “Yes.” Miami lawyering could not be better illustrated than that! And, if Charles Adelson ever get charged, expect more undesirable sparks from DeCoste’s friend, the famous David Oscar Markus! Markus is a Harvard Law School educated lawyer, famous for high-stakes criminal litigation.

The Kawass sisters relentlessly axed questions instead of asking questions. Their wardrobes are obviously in need of urgent freshen up. The endless chats of one of the sisters with the defendant Katherine Magbanua are unprofessional.

Saam Zangeneh, alumnus of the University of Miami School of Law, has twenty years plus of experience defending drug, sex and all sorts of violent crime cases ... out of court! Attorney Zangeneh brings in another Iran has his helper. Zangeneh performance in defending Sigfredo Garcia showed that Zangeneh has not argued major cases in court for a while!

Tallahassee jurors, are you going to deliver a verdict a la Casey Anthony trial?

There definitely going to go after CA just to show the public the system is fair. IMO. KM could walk by the weekend and CA could be tried, convicted and sentenced to death.
12 different minds will be deliberating his fate. Strange system we have here in the good ole' USA .

I so hope you’re right about CA anyways!

10 women 2 men!!
It’ll be interesting how that plays out. Personally, and as a woman ...and aside from her conspiracy to commit murder - I don’t like her character, and I despise women like her! She’s a gold digging opportunistic person who has no regard for anyone but her self absorbed self. MOO.

i think in the end the code talking is what's going to sink her. she had no believable explanation for it! that's something concrete that the jurors can hang on to.
She thought she was clever...She deserves life in prison w/o the possibility of parole. Short changing SG/LR too. Sad what some people will do for the love of money. Just like it says in the book of 1 Timothy 6:10

Absolutely she does. Makes me almost feel bad for SG... ugh.

Actually, I hope they both go down. My post in reference to KM is a worst case scenario.

What I meant by the SG/LR comment is KM will cut your throat even if she likes you. Pure evil! As for SG he allegedly put two bullets in an innocent mans head for paper. I hope Law Enforcement put LR on a lie detector before completing any deals with him.

Get Out of Jail Free and Collect $1M+.
I think you're right. KM plays it both ways. I think he could do it, but I don't know. That's what the reward will be for if she walks. Covers herself and him. Methinks KM is in for a rude awakening in the next 48 hours or so...

And ultimately who comes out making the most money in all of this? KM! She stands to gain waaaay more in being able to hold this over CA’s head forever! She has him now! She was gonna milk him for all he was worth. He was gonna give her his Ferrari!

Vacations, cash deposits, meal delivery service, cars etc. what SG and LR got was chump change!

ETA- KM is like Charlie’s mother, DA. That’s why CA is trapped by her. He prob went to her and talked tough about getting DM killed and she said ‘put your money where your mouth is.’ And it spiraled from there with both egging the other on.
If CA can have his brother-in-law bumped off with great ease for a mere 100K why not just do the same to any other problems he might encounter in the future regarding the matter? This is what he will tell her if he has not already told her and may have included the family would suffer a dirt nap to further seal the deal and stop any other problems. Now this is assuming she actually knew what was going on, I think he went to the killers himself w/o poor little Katie knowing for sure what was happening.
