Whoever was the holdout was likely another narcissistic/borderline type who related to KM on the stand. They walk among us folks! And her taking the stand probably helped her connect with “her type” on the jury! Because no other explanation makes sense! JMO

Since chances are that a female was a hold out, I sure was wrong about women seeing through her BS.

To save KM, could SG come out and say she had nothing to do with it and that she's the wrong person to go after? He could totally fall on his sword for everyone. What does he have to lose now? Nada.

I would think he'd have to provide evidence to prove that. He can't just say it and be believed. He's a convicted felon.

Me too, but I can understand it. I’m a hard-@ss when it comes to my opinion about people and feel like I can size up the truth about someone easily. My best friend ...omg...no...she has the worst radar for sussing out shady people and will give the last shirt off her back in order to help someone out. I can’t tell you how many times she’s been taken advantage of because she is so sweet and generous and wants to only see the good in people. I love her for this - she’s so kind, but I am so very different and am very “hard” and rarely does my opinion change about someone shady. Either this juror sympathized with KM or identified with her.

Here is the full statement:

My first reaction is that I hope the Markel family feels some sense of justice and relief that Garcia was convicted. This trial must have been so hard and taxing on them. My second reaction is that the prosecution couldn't prove its theory on Katie after 3 years of really thorough investigation and preparation. This is why they have not charged Charlie and his family--the case simply isn't there. We don't charge people based on podcast and internet speculation. David Oscar Markus

Obviously the majority of the jury did not believe Katie's testimony or they would have acquitted her. She is still in jeopardy of a life sentence without parole. What's David Oscar Marcus talking about? They will get to Charlie and his family when they feel the time is right. Katie is still in jail awaiting another trial, unless she and SG come forward and tell Law Enforcement who paid for the deed. The State got a test run and a conviction all in one trial. They were smart running combined trials.

The jury believed Magbanana over King Tutu Tot?! Both in same criminal fruit bowl. IMO

Yep, "my peers" keep reinforcing my fears.

I didn't hear/see the comment by Adelson's attorney. Was it made by Markus? Has anyone seen his "promo" page? I bet he costs a lot of stapled greenbacks.

Why didn't KM's attorneys ask the Judge to allow KM out on bond? I'm suspicious.

But he can further muddy the waters. And...he's never been interviewed. No one has heard him speak.

I just saw a new statement from him flash on TV. It said something like "The case against CA is now weaker, not stronger."

We heard him yell a lot on the wiretap! ;)

What makes you suspicious? That she'll be "taken out" before she gets home?

I dunno? But they told the judge they weren’t sure they’d be around to represent KM for a 2nd trial.

They have to check in with their paymaster and also check in with their puppeteer.

We don't know if it was only 1 hold-out, correct? Could have been more?

@KarlEtters

Jury breakdown on mistrial for Katherine Magbanua on charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and solicitation of murder was 11-1 to convict.

Do KM's attorneys want to limit her from outside influences who may urge her to try to cut a deal with the State? Remember that this is the same "independent" legal team who advised that she decline complete immunity. Where are they getting their marching orders from? PH1?
