I'm totally bummed by this outcome! I really wanted to see a guilty verdict for KM more than I did for SG. Her brazen arrogance really got under my skin after she took the stand. Very disappointing. I'm glad the reasonable ppl on the jury held out and didn't go NG. And if it was one or two idiots, then there's a good chance of a conviction on the second go. But still, what a waste of effort to have to do this all over again. But maybe it will put pressure on KM to give up the Adelsons. That's the only positive that could come out of this but I don't think she will. She's held out for 3 years in jail after all. She'd only have to wait a few more months max and she'll go to trial again.

I think there is a 2 year statute of limitations in Florida for a civil wrongful death case. 2 years run from the date of death. Time may have run out. JMO.
Good point. ... Counsel may try to invoke the "discovery rule" and argue that CA and DA intentionally "hid" their culpability.

CourtTV talking about KM being a witness for mitigation :eek::eek:

Commentators on CourtTV agreed it will likely be at least a year (especially if she gets new counsel who must get up to speed and prepare).

I'll be shocked if she gets new counsel. In my opinion, the alleged masterminds are paying for these "loyal" attorneys - and they will keep paying.

CourtTV talking about my thought they could arrest the Adelson's tonight.

Would love to be a fly on the wall at the Adelson today.

I agree with your comments except for the timing for a re-trial. This may take much longer than you think. I just can't believe what a hold out juror was thinking? How do you not convict her of at least conspiracy and solicitation. I'm so mad.

This is what is so perplexing. I can understand being conflicted about the actual murder charge.

I saw that. Wouldn’t that be something! KM said CA always had a bag ready — so LE better move in quick if this is even a possibility

wonder if WA connection to fed. judge is reason for no indictment of Adelsons??

They are probably going through a lot of toilet paper!
Pepto Bismo is probably also flying off the shelves at local drug stores!

I'm sure they've had surveillance on all of them throughout the trial. What an expensive undertaking all of this is.

If they are smart, they will arrest CA now. It appears to me the jury thinks CA solicited SG. Go for it GC!!

They might just have to sign that fashionable Icon condo in Miami to their attorneys as soon as next week. Maybe all fo them.

With how high profile this crime is, I would hazard a guess that the Adelsons have eyes on them. What a great early Christmas miracle a few more arrests would be!

I have serious doubts this jury will give him the DP.

I feel the same way. Life in prison with no chance of being let out is ok with me.
