She was in a quandary. She had to play the part of the grieving wife because she knew it was all recorded. She says a lot and she tries to pass the blame to her brother and I believe she mentions Jeff laCasse as well. If she clams up immediately it solves the immediate problem but then the investigation focuses on her. I think Det ISOM immediately suspected her but he'd also seen her ID Card for TSU - law school so he had to be careful least she shut down the conversation.Funny, her being a lawyer and all - lawyers usually tell their clients to say nothing and contact your lawyer asap.
Too bad her brother and mother didn't do the same, she must have advised them during their alleged conspiring to not get a lawyer, talk to police a lot and try to be as helpful as possible. Maybe if they'd followed her advice, Charlie would have outsmarted police too.

I would say that Wendi advised the whole family about the structure of the communications leading up to the plot and No Emails, no text messages would have been one of the rules. That's why the electronic evidence is so sparse.
Does anyone know if KM's original phone was recovered ? I know she bought a new one to replace it but did she store that first phone and were the police able to trace when it was bought and if bought for cash.

TV matter - one aspect that is most strange. Donna apparently booked this from 700km away. Perhaps she just used her first name to do the booking , hoping that would create some confusion if the police checked out the story. Another possibility is that if it were booked by someone else and had to be rebooked because of a change of plans, the dual booking for the one repair would not be such a flag as Wendi would do the second booking.
It's almost as if CJA and DA were doing all the alibi planning.
