I think this missing person is a good possibility... Everything lines up almost perfectly aside from the weight, which isn’t a huge deal IMO. Same thing with injuries on both, they may just not have been known by whoever reported. I think the physical resemblance is also spot on; nose, ears, eyebrows, teeth, hairline... JMO

Williams-Comer is suspected to be a victim of a serial killer and his body was not found where several other victims’ bodies were located... could this SK have had a second disposal spot? Or maybe this wasn’t one of his victims?

Jerry Williams Comer

Missing Since: August 8, 1995 (1995)
Missing From: Indianapolis, Indiana (Florida)
Missing Age: 34 years old (30-45)
Height: 5 feet 7 inches (5 feet 6 inches)
Weight: 120 pounds (138)
Hair & Eye Color: Brown, Brown (Unknown)
-Williams-Comer has a prior injury to his knees.

According to Charley Project:
Williams-Comer was last seen in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 8, 1995. He has never been heard from again. After his disappearance, his vehicle was found at Castleton Square Mall. Authorities believe he was a victim of the serial killer Herbert Richard "Herb" Baumeister, who was responsible for the deaths of many young men in the Indianapolis area during the 1990s.

A photo of Baumeister is posted with this case summary. He shot himself in Port Huron, Ontario in June 1996, just as the police were preparing to arrest him. He left a note blaming his suicide on business troubles and his failing marriage, and did not mention the murders.

A search of Baumeister's eighteen-acre property turned up the burned skeletal remains of approximately eleven individuals, only four of whom have been identified. As a young gay man, Williams-Comer fits the profile of Baumeister's victims. Another possible victim is Allen Livingston. Their bodies were not found on the serial killer's property, however.

As of April 12, 2025, there is one public rule-out for this John Doe:

James Clark

His NamUs profile appears down or possibly broken, as it does not show his DLC, State, or County. There is another James Clark in NamUs; he disappeared in 1997, so it cannot be him.
