The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for your help finding a missing 11 year old.

Police say they are looking for Demetrii Cooper.

He was last seen walking in his neighborhood of Croxley Court. That is located in the Argyle Forest area.

Cooper's parents say this is out of the ordinary for him to leave and not tell anyone.

The boy is described as african american, standing four feet tall. He weighs 80 pounds.

Cooper was last seen wearing a yellow shirt and white shorts

Please call the JSO at 630-0500 if you have any information on his whereabouts.

I can't find anything new either. In the comments after one article, a poster said he is safe and back home, had runaway. I hope that is true but it does seem like there would be a follow-up in the paper.

I have not read anything that said he was found yet. I had really hoped that he was at a friends or something.
