Jorge Guerrero pleads not guilty to child charges

The man suspected in the disappearance of 9-year-old Diana Alvarez pleaded not guilty in court Monday to the production and possession of child .

Jorge Guerrero, 28, faces a minimum sentence of 15 years in federal prison on the production charge.

Authorities say explicit images of an underage girl were found on Guerrero’s phone.

Guerrero is not currently facing any charges specifically related to Alvarez’s disappearance, though he was taken into custody just days after the 9-year-old was last seen on May 29.

this is all brand new; over the past 48 hours we found out that LE obtained search warrants to search multiple vehicles & were having RH identifying if any of the items belonged to DA. the charges may be related to those items found; although not much has been released details wise, like about what was found or what cars they were (I'm hoping black Chevy & white van).

I'm happy for a little update but I really want more.

someone here recently posted an update from the LCSO fb; sherif Scott was addresing the news teams getting too involved & releasing too much info too soon in high profile cases.. & since then, vague updates have gotten even more vague.

I'm sitting here now waiting on the 4:00 news hoping for something substantial.
