I think Roselvr was working on getting these two out there, in conjunction with the Allenstown NH 4 case.

Alleykins do you think this case is related to the NH 4?

I'm not really sure. I think there would have been a hit in CODIS if there had been a match between the oldest child and Caren if it were. Her DNA status is now test complete.

Not that I've heard. Roselvr would probably be the one to ask.
I just checked Doris' page, there's a picture for her that I've never seen before, and it's of much better quality than the NAMPN one.
It doesn't look familiar.
Her DNA still isn't submitted. Not sure why, but the mtDNA would be the same as her daughter's, so I guess it really wouldn't matter whose it was until it matches. Then they'd have to sort it out I guess.

This missing poster was posted on the Charley Project FB page yesterday, found in a 1987 archived newspaper (not cited), giving a different date and location for Caren's disappearance. Credit: The Charley project/FB

I don't know if I remember correctly from discussion about them at Allenstown NH 4 case - it was mentioned that they were originally from Pennsylvania but went missing in Florida. This is 3rd different date of them going missing that I see, but I think it was cleared up in discussion again in Allenstown thread (somewhere around pages 63 -64 I think).

Hello! I'm Doris Wurst's niece. My mother is her twin sister. My mom recently completed her DNA so when it is complete it will hopefully be posted on Namus. To clarify, they were from Pennsylvania but disappeared in Florida. I added the picture you're referring to after going through and finding pictures after my other aunt passed away last year.

I am very sorry to read about your missing cousin, and Aunt.

1974. 43 years come November. I cannot imagine what your mom, and your entire family, have been through.

I really hope you will find them someday soon.

It's a long shot, but there's a case in Maryland where a child, 4-6 years old, was abandoned by her mother in 1977. The mother left her with a friend but never returned for her and was apparently using a fake name. Caren might be a year or two older than this girl, though, but hair and eye color match. It's probably just wishful thinking on my part but I'd like to believe Caren is still alive and out there somewhere.

I see a resemblance between the two, but they both have DNA available and it would have been picked up by CODIS if it were a match. Since this UID is living, I hope she has put her DNA out there on family DNA sites to see if she can match that way.

You are absolutely correct! I have no idea what I was looking at yesterday because I thought only one of them had DNA on file.
