I was wondering the same thing. The page says "started by Mark Sievers," but I wonder if the friend who is reported to have started the account just put his name so it wouldn't look like she was trying to get the money for herself. The rules page does say that you need to use your real name to start an account, but then, Facebook says the same thing, yet I've seen plenty of FB accounts under names like "Luvin Thebeach" and "Nunya Bizniss."

And I don't want to get in trouble with the mods, and I know no one's been named as a POI and I'm not casting any aspersions that way, but...Lenka Spiska, certified masseuse and Intuitologist? Intuitologist??? Seriously? Now, I'm no Intuitologist, but my intuition tells me that I might be rolling my eyes for the rest of the day over that one--

I was just thinking about the hammer rumored to be the murder weapon. I dont know where most people keep theirs but I keep mine in a tool box in my laundry room. Im always needing it for something. Anyone have ideas on perps that use hammers? Do you think the perp brought it with him? Wouldnt a burglar have a knife or a gun?

I'm having a hard time believing this is a burglary. LE isn't saying but no word on if house was ransacked, anything missing, public safe but lock your doors. I think broken door was staged. Seems to targeted for Dr. T that specific night, while family still away. Then the Moolah beg for whatever reason:thinking:. JMO

True. I think it raises questions when the next day you already have an account up asking for a million dollars. It could be completely innocent but Id bet this is something that LE will dig into. Also she may have had a friend that no one knew about. It seems like it was someone that knew she returned home alone, knew they had alarms and where to disable them, a very very angry person to stand there yelling at her and the violence of the crime.This doesn't feel like a burglary to me. I think she knew her perp.And what are the odds with them being away that a burglar just picked that night to do this? jmo.

I've seen tons of questionable activities on the over the years. One lady I don't know personally, only via FB for example, is an astrologer, and she was complaining she wasn't being paid enough while on her "vacations" to San Diego and throughout California, for the seminars she was the invited guest speaker for! So she and her daughter set up a donation page and begged money for her to make up what she thought she was worth At least a year's salary something like approaching 30M plus, last time I checked, and came in all for free other then the 10% she complained had to be paid to . She wasn't from this country but Australia and is popular in that community of astrologers so people emptied their pockets, or perhaps some with deeper pockets would give 100.00 per donation.

There is a lot of nefarious doings that brings out the worse in people who think the world owes them a living or in this case a few paid vacations at the best hotels btw. Didn't Chevy Chase ( "the movie Vacation") "nothing but the best Eddie"

Its a shame too, because there is true need, not made up need which then is hurt by such greed seen by opportunists to strike, as you said, "while the iron is hot". Lack of conscience going on, imo.

Crime scene technicians focused of a broken door handle at her home and are pursuing leads about an SUV parked at her home that day.

Friday, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office towed away a van belonging to the family. Before it was taken, crime scene technicians dusted the vehicle for prints.

Finger print dust could also be seen on the family’s fence surrounding the home.
There are still a list of unanswered questions including a motive in the murder.

I don't think the husband started the page. I think his name is on it to show he's the beneficiary, not the woman who started it.

The page may be in poor taste so soon, but if they need money for a funeral (it doesn't say that), ya kinda have to get right on that. The person starting the page likely has no clue about fundraising etiquette, hence the $1,000,000 goal.

Think we are looking a a premeditated murder no matter who the perp turns out to be.

I will be very surprised if she didnt have a good life insurance policy.

She may have had one but until they make an arrest, I doubt benefits will be paid. She had to be in a lot of debt for her extensive education. Most young doctors don't immediately launch a solo practice because the costs are so high.

Has LE cleared the husband?

No. I believe they feel she was targeted by someone. This may take awhile. Do to the gruesomeness of this crime, it looks like someone with alot of rage toward her. Not only will they look from the inside out, they will have to investigate if she has any angry clients. jmo
