Thank you, Nin, Websleuth Extraordinaire. You rock! :loveyou:

I noticed in the 1st set of pics posted the reflection on the van that disappeared when the van was being moved out of the garage. Where is the motorcycle in this first picture?

In the 2nd photo, the motorcycle's front fender is covering a portion of the van's bumper and that's from a left side perspective. The handle grip seems to be touching the van. IMHO, either the motorcycle was moved by LEO or it moved for some other reason. How could she park that van with the motorcycle in that position?

I must be stubborn as I cannot see another vehicle. Is it white in color? What is that orange thick round stick with a black then white tip looking thing where the car would be [It's also in photo 2]? Their garage must be very deep to be able to get the Honda car so close inside the garage.

Hoping that the section of drywall, that may have been removed, held a finger or hand print. Drywall takes a bit of time and expertise to replace. Then, it requires painting. However, I'll leave the clean up issue alone for now.

On the issue of the dogs, was it established that the family had a dog walker who dropped by to walk the dogs? Maybe the dog walker drove a tan Avalanche seen at the CS. Otherwise, the family dogs would need to be kenneled for the time the family was in CT.

I believe the doctor always planned to return home on Sunday from the unexpected trip to CT. Changing reservations is not free. She had patients to see on Monday and knew it before she left.

This is such a very sad case. My heart aches for Dr. Sievers' suffering.

Regarding the first picture, that's why you can't see the motorcycle from the right, because it is a good distance away from the car. In one of the MSM videos a CS worker walking right in between the motorcycle and the van exiting the garage. I could not find the video yet. You can also see a very small reflection that may be coming from the motorcycle here:

The pic showing the interior including the second car:

sievers garage motorcycle car outline.jpg

There is something orange colored leaning against the second car or being very close to it. Can't tell what it is exactly.

Thank you for your kind words!

I am notoriously bad at seeing things that others see in photos.
I can not see a reflection or another car
Not saying it isn't there, saying I do not see it

I only saw if after enhancing the picture. You see 3 things in a row. First the van, then the motorcycle, then the lighter colored compact car:

I see it now! Thanks, Nin! Mercedes RL? The silver piece near rear the door release very similar to that model.

That house will be hard to sell because it is stigmatized property. Knowing a family member was targeted and not knowing who the perp was, Id be scared to take the kids back in case the perp wasnt done with the family. Id probably just rent an apartment for awhile until the perp was caught. jmo

I'm not sure if this has been posted already, but here are a few rough highlights of what was said on Nancy Grace this evening ...

New details according to NG ...

Investigative reporter said:

LE still being lipped.

Hammer has been named.

No robbery or rape confirmed.

Blue van which belongs to MS has not been returned from when it was sent out for processing.

MS now driving the white mini station wagon belonging to TS, and it has tinted windows.

Saliva tests were taken from family dogs (which we already knew here at WS).

I agree it would be hard to sell or even rent. As much as I don't think I would return to live in the home and have my children live there, I can see where there may have not been much of a choice. MS as office manager of her practice was left without an income, both his and hers. Imagine if you have to pay a mortgage, utilities and other expenses on that home and try to rent a place somewhere else. He may also be faced with 2 car payments, we just don't know. That's a hefty amount of money to come up with, not to mention any expenses that were associated with being temporarily dislocated while the house was unavailable to live in.

Hammer as weapon used has been named but not officially stated by LE as fact.

In some states if someone died in the home, even from natural causes, that has to be disclosed. We have no idea what the finances are for this family, do we? Many people can't just continue to pay a mortgage and go out and rent an apartment too. This is the children's home. They lost their mom.. maybe it is better they do not have to lose everything else that is familiar to them too. IDK, I agree it is a scary thought to go back and live there with a perp on the loose.. you would think dad would be nervous about that.... on the other hand if someone is targeting this family, it isnt going to matter where they live, right? JMO

I am sure the children are being protected and sheltered about what has happened. I can't imagine they know details of mom's passing.
Maybe the decision was made to stay in the home because it is a familiar setting for the children.
Their lives have changed forever.

For me, personally, it would be impossible to live there, but MS may be putting his feelings aside to do what he thinks is best for the kids.
I don't think the family was/is being targeted

No Fingerprints? No perp saliva found from the irate yelling. Scene was in disarray but not much to go on? Sherriff says you can write a movie about this case but he still has not one clue about who did it?

FYI, here are most of the Medicare medications Dr Sievers has prescribed. I recall someone asking what kind of medications she was prescribing:

nothing exciting jumping out.. thyroid meds, BP meds, cholesterol meds.. fluid pills, diabetic meds, antacid type meds, a couple of anti anxiety meds, blood thinners, a sleeping pill or 2, anti depression meds..something for gout..estrogen supplements...jmo

Maybe someone couldn't afford the transgender hormone pills and they started feeling different. So they became irate because she couldn't supply them the transformation hormonial meds for free. Idk. Just thinking out loud.

Only thing that looks unconventional is Armour thyroid. That was the standard treatment for hypothyroidism prior to the development of synthetic T4. Many thyroid patients find it works better than T4, as Armour and other porcine thyroids contain not just T4 but all the other forms of hormone, especially T3, that the body itself makes. This was a major reason Sievers was at the top of my list as a potential SWFL doc.

Note too that for all the talk (incorrect, I suspect) about the big money to be made with supplements, she prescribed Lovaza, the prescription form of fish oil that is many times more expensive than equivalent ethyl-ester fish oil supplements. This wouldn't have made Sievers any money, but would likely have saved money for patients with drug coverage.

Here is a pic with CS workers next to the van, around where the motorcycle should be. I think they moved it as needed:

And here the fender seems to be crossing the bumper of the van:

We need to remember. That when people are paying out of their own pocket for treatment from a so called specialist. They want results without getting milked for all of their money.

Now once all of their money is gone while still suffering; Them or their loved ones would start to look at the specialist as a snake oil scam. Jmo

No rape. No robbery. Yelling taking place. YouTube videos promoting her revolutionary cures.

Tells me that a patient or loved one of a patient was not happy with the results and the drainage of the patient funds. Jmo

It sounds personal, yes.

LE has not reported the yelling.
A neighbor says they heard an argument
Another neighbor says they heard a shrill.

Based on a photo posted up thread, the houses were a bit of a distance away so if it was coming from Siever's house, it would have had to be loud

LE has not confirmed much, including the weapon.
Most of this has come from media, a great deal from Nancy Grace

I'm not so sure. IMO, if the disgruntled patient theory is true, this patient and/or family would have launched formal complaints before resorting to killing. Filing formal complaints or attempting to launch a civil suit would 1. "expose" the snake oil scam; and 2. most effective way to recoup financial losses. Murdering the doctor would not accomplish either.

On the other hand, it is not unheard of that doctors are targeted for perceived failures by family members. I remember a story from last year where a surgeon was shot and killed at the hospital by the son of a former (elderly) patient who had recently died. The perp then shot himself. Tragic all around, but I don't believe this is a similar situation due to the location of the crime, and the manner of death. The unsub, IMO, is someone who had been in the home before - s/he did not enter for the first time to murder Dr. Sievers, and this was personal.

Also, just a thought but if the unsub broke into the home via the pedestrian garage door before Dr. Sievers arrived home, wouldn't she have noticed that the door was damaged (and probably ajar)? Of course its possible she didn't notice. In that case, how unlucky could she be? Not only would the deadbolt be left unlocked, the alarm system have failed to sound when the door was breached, and even while bring her luggage into the house or letting the dogs into the yard/taking them for a walk, she failed to notice the condition of the door.

IMO, this scene could easily unfold if the unsub enter the home with the victim because this person is known to the victim, not a threat, which explains why the alarm didn't sound, why the dogs didn't bark, and quite possibly, why the victim was killed in the kitchen (if this is true). Seemingly, it would be easier to bludgeon someone to death while they're in bed than it would be to do this while the victim it upright and awake. But, if the unsub is someone familiar, perhaps they were eating/drinking/chatting in the kitchen before the crime. Its not like the unsub could wait until she went to bed unless they also planned to sleepover. Also, lets not forget there is something very important about that van to LE and my guess, this is because the unsub was in the van prior to the murder.
