The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

On 1/10/21, the decedent asked her friend for a place to stay. They went back to the above mentioned address where the decedent’s friend allowed her to stay. The decedent was last known to be alive on this date, when her friend left at approximately 10:00 AM to run some errands. He came back to the room at approximately 12:35 PM and found the decedent unresponsive on the bathroom floor. He called ‘911’ at 12:52 PM to which JSO and JFRD Rescue 44 responded. No vital signs were detected and the decedent was pronounced on scene. No trauma was noted to the decedent and no foul play was suspected.

I hope this NamUS page is under construction. Really odd that she was found deceased within hours but there is no photo, not even a nickname, no details about height, weight, eye color, clothing, etc.

Following this case. I suspect she will be identified rather quickly. Does it sound like her friend was more of an acquaintance who didn't know her full name? Why did he wait so long to call 911, though? (ETA: home at 12:35, called at 12:52.) I am not going to speculate out loud...

You would think her friend would know her name. This is a bit bizarre.

Perhaps the name he knew her by, that person didn't exist.

True, but NamUs has a line to list Aliases, if LE chooses to do so. Maybe they need more than hearsay to list one?
