A Brevard County man is facing his third first-degree murder charge stemming from an alleged home invasion and killing in 2013.

Marcus Antonio Royal, 34, was already charged with first-degree murder for the killing of Faye Jones, 80, in March 2013. Royal allegedly broke into Jones' home, killed her then attacked Michael Fallon, 55, when he came to the home to pick up Jones for church... Fallon was hospitalized following the attack and died from his injuries on Aug. 9...

After his arrest in Jones' death, Royal allegedly confessed to killing Annie Marie Mull in May of 2011. Mull, 73, was strangled in her Rockledge home. Royal's second first-degree murder indictment stems from Mull's killing.

Royal is currently serving a life sentence in prison for violating his probation in a 1993 rape. Additionally, he faces burglary and assault charges.
