Authorities said that Wiley picked up Felecia from her Tampa home Friday afternoon and took her to Doral Oaks for a visit.

When Wiley got out of the shower between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., she discovered that Felecia was missing, authorities said.

It took Wiley five hours to alert authorities, police said.

An Amber Alert was not released because at the time, and due in part to misinformation Wiley provided to police, the case didn’t meet the criteria, Albano said.

The woman told House a confusing story, he said, about how upset she was that the girl had come to the nursing home where Wiley, 23, works as a housekeeper.

“She told me that that’s why she came to pick her up,” House said. “She bought her some Checker’s and took her to her friend’s place in Temple Terrace.”

If Felecia had been to the apartment complex enough to be seen outside playing with other children, it is possible that she went outside while EW was in the shower and was taken by someone...

It is possible but why not report her missing for 5 hours?

Some of you are saying that her disappearance could possibly related to drugs, but have any of you read that EW was involved with drugs at all? Obviously not having an available record doesn't mean she hasn't used drugs, but why would you continue to assert that this is a drug-related crime despite no evidence leading to that conclusion? As for her issues with hallucinations - just because she may be struggling with mental illness doesn't make her more likely to harm a child. I feel like some of you might be latching onto her prematurely. We haven't gotten much info from LE as of yet regarding the circumstances surrounding Felecia's disappearance and death to assume EW was clearly up to no good. MSM links in this thread have stated that she was regularly with Feleica. Again, people ITT are assuming she must have had some ulterior motive, but maybe she really did just want to spend time with Felecia. Maybe during the 5 hours she was actually looking for her. She could have been worried about upsetting her mother, or maybe she thought Felecia was nearby in the neighborhood somewhere, and she wanted to find her before escalating it.

LE blunders in the past have proven that focusing too much on one suspect in the beginning can botch the whole investigation. Try to keep an open mind and wait for more information to be released by LE before assuming she's clearly guilty. I know we all want the same thing here - justice for Felecia.

Many puzzling reports made in above article:

EW told House (FW's relative) that FW had been bothering her at work... So that is why she came to pick up FW... Brought Checkers... And took her to her friend's house...

Demerson has planned a funeral at 11:00 on Saturday (May24th).... But doesn't know where yet...
(How can a funeral be planned before a place is arranged?)

Her boss there questioned her about the visit, House quoted Wiley as saying.

Such poor reporting on that article. It is frustrating they did not explain more. There are a couple of interpretations to the relative's comments. EW was upset because she go into trouble at work because Felecia was there. The article, as written, makes it sound like she was blaming Felecia for getting her into trouble. So she picked her up after work to scold her. On the other hand, it could be that was she short with Felecia at the nursing home, so she picked her up after work to make up to her. She treated her to fast food at Checkers and brought her to a friend's house for a fun evening.

The memorial service for Felecia Nicole Williams will be held at 11 a.m. at the Rock Church of God by Faith, at 4323 E Henry Ave. Details of the service were confirmed by Gudes Funeral Home, which is handling the arrangements.

I can't speak for anyone else on the forum, but for me, the reason why I said above I feel its possible there might be a drug link here is not because of her hallucinations, but due to the circumstances surrounding Felecia's case which remind me of other cases in which there was a drug link. The "going to shower" at someone's house strikes me as a possible euphemism for "went to get drugs", the mention of people coming and going, unknown individuals, etc...I just woke up from a nap so my head is really foggy right now but am marking my spot to come back and explain a little later. Again, I'm not saying drugs are a sure thing here, but it would not surprise me if there was some sort of link somewhere. Not necessarity to EW, but possibly to her associates. jmo

I cannot speak for anyone else here, but I am thinking drug-related because the details of this case unfortunately sound like so many others here on WS. I'll go even one step further and say Felicia might have been handed over to cover a drug debt. Definitely reminds me of the Shaniya Davis case here in NC.
Nothing that has been reported makes any sense.
1. No one knew Eboni's last name, but let a 9 yo child leave with her.
2. Eboni goes to a friend's apt. to take a shower at midnight.
3. Felicia wasn't reported missing for 5hrs.
4. Eboni arrested for lying to police.
5. Felicia's nekkid body found in causeway.

Hmmm, this literally screams drugs/sexual predator to me. But that's just me. MOO
And just because someone has never been arrested for drugs doesn't mean they don't use drugs or sell drugs. IMO
