I thought it may be another act of terrorism. There was another thread on WS last year about airport employees having ties to terrorists and some had worked there for years before this was even found out. Not very comforting. Unless it was a security officer how would they be able to get a gun in the airport? Oh that's right, TSA has a dismal 95% failure rate of detecting firearms and other destructive weapons in our airports. Gah!

This happened outside of the TSA area. Where anyone can walk up.

I know LE can't be everywhere, i was mainly meaning while all the people were waiting on the tarmack. I know I didn't specify, but they were sitting duck if there could have been another shooter. imo
