OK, idiot of the year here *waving*. When I go to her myspace page, there's a picture of a half naked dude. I clicked on him, nothing happened. Where is HER profile picture. I feel so stupid.......:bang:

Don't feel stupid, TopGunner! That is her profile picture...must be a guy friend. :eek: You can click on "pics" underneath and look at her other pics (she's in some) if you are signed in to Myspace.

Aww Taxi, you are so sweet. :blowkiss: How does one go about "signing in" to myspace? I mean, I click on the link and get to her page. Is there something else I'm supposed to be doing? I feel like a Flinstone.

I will add that if this was my daughter's myspace page...even if she never hurt a fly, the second I saw it, she'd be doomed. So gross.

You'll have to have a Myspace profile (which is fairly easy to set up w/anony info if you want) to view the pictures, TopGunner. Do you have one? If so, you just sign in with the email addy and password you used to make the profile.

one of mercedes' friends says "victoria is just fine."

does anyone know if this is victoria's? the age says 18. while that is incorrect, i also know some of my friends little siblings lie to make themselves older on myspace. sooooo ...

Don't forget that the video we have all seen over and over is AFTER they had already beaten her up the first time and she was unconscious. She woke up on that couch only to have them start beating her again. There are more tapes but we have only seen one.

Who knows what was going on in the minds of those girls.It is said that she insulted them online. That doesn't sound all that unreasonable and she probably did. I know I can't come up with anything nice to say about any of them.
We had all kinds of dynamics going on in HS, including plenty of insults :innocent: but I do not recall anyone getting a beating like that..or any kind of beating for that matter.

Does anyone know how it came to be known that the boys were acting as *look outs*?
I bet these kids are going to all turn on each other for lesser charges. this is going to be interesting to watch.
ALSO..does anyone know what the witness tampering is about? Did they try to get their stories straight? Seems like someone is already singing IMO.

Just to show you how differently schools and states handle situations such as this one...check this out:

BROKEN ARROW, Okla.) April 11 - Students at South Intermediate in Broken Arrow are under investigation after beating up a classmate and posting it on YouTube.

I think they are handling those thugs as they should be in FL. I hope that Broken Arrow,OK PD and their DA will act accordingly. There is no excuse for violent assaults to go unpunished criminally.

John Trevena, defense attorney from Pinellas County, called the decision "extraordinarily harsh and unfair to the defendants."
"The reality is, despite how the video may sensationalize what happened, that girl was not seriously injured," Trevena said. "But because there is a video, there's political motivation to capitalize on that."

ETA: No, the video is now evidence to an assault that left someone seriously injured. He must be related to Brodsky.
