ETA: ok I checked and it was not mercades mother that said that. It was another mother. Mercades grandmother was looking pretty shaken by her granddaughter's behavior.

I'm thinking yes. My daugher went through that crap in high school. She's extremely pretty but didn't do that whole cheerleading clique thing. Everyone thinks it's the pretty cheerleaders that pick on the homely girls. What I found out is it's the homely insecure jealous ones that are the bullies.

Her mother was only born in 1974. She was the same age as Mercedes is now when she had her. Speaks volumes, imo.

I cannot imagine my daughter writing anything like that. If I found out one of her friends had a myspace page like that, that friend would no longer be welcome at our house.

My daughter does not have a myspace page, and thinks myspace is stupid. I signed up for one some time ago to be able to read the myspace sites that are posted here, but in general I don't care for the place.

You and Mrs. Adnoid are wonderful, involved parents. I think it's great that your daughter doesn't have a myspace page. My daughter was just getting out of that really impressionable age when myspace took off. I'm so grateful for that.

I really think the kids take myspace as serious as real life. I wish all parents would rule against their kids having it. Half (more) look like they're marketing themselves on there. 12 year olds wearing hardly anything for Pete's sake. I'm feeling so old....
