A hiker found human remains on Air Force property in Okaloosa County, according to the sheriff's office.

The hiker discovered the skeletal remains Tuesday in a wooded area north of Highway 98 near the Santa Rosa County line around 5:30 p.m.

Wow, at least four missing from Crestview over the years. How large is that city?

Callandra Stallworth's vehicle was found in Destin with her boyfriend driving. No sign of her. Destin is roughly 30 mins away from this area. FWIW

So the msm says Elgin AF reserve near county line and hwy 98. So this would, I think, be right around the Fort Walton/Destin area. the county line between Santa Rosa Co and Okaloosa Co is in between Santa Rosa Island and Navarre. Now, I am really bad at mapping, so don't trust me!

Yep - the Okaloosa / Santa Rosa County line is a little to the west of Wynnehaven Beach. Outline showing Okaloosa County :

Although the article is sketchy on details, apparently he was arrested. For what, I can't find.

Family hasn't seen missing Crestview woman for a week

Deputies with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office spotted Stallworth's vehicle leaving a Motel 6 on Harbor Boulevard in Destin on Sunday. According to an arrest report, 33-year-old Antwon Smith was driving the vehicle and another woman, 18-year-old Taleah Durm was in the passenger's seat. Durm has also been considered missing along with Stallworth. Knight told WEAR-TV that Smith was Stallworth's boyfriend.

Yeahhhhhhhhh... that's not mollifying me in any way, lol (the side-eye is intended for the sheriff's office, not you - I of course am very grateful for the answer!). Seems super coincidental to find him "with" not one, but 2 different ladies who were reported missing...

I can't be the only person who thinks of that as pimp-sounding behavior, can I?

Or, "he snatches his female companions first, then asks questions later"...?

Wondering if they got the spelling wrong for his first name? It's correctly spelled Seamus, which is Gaelic for James.

The guy running the blog is also named Shamus Marshall. He claims this Shamus is a fugitive from Florida wanted for battery.
