She just said she isn't ready to make a decision!

Just say NO Donna. Your mouth got you into this and it won't get you out of it!

The control freak has taken control of the courtroom, lol. DA gets her way......

She isn't testifying.

The shows are going to be off the wall tonight talking about this- just wow.

My opinion only- Donna is directing this show. She wants to surprise the prosecution side with unknowns as to who will be presenting ( new person not previously put on defendants list of witnesses), what they will be presenting, nor how long they will be presenting the defense case. The paralegal is there to stroke Donna's shoulder and her ego so that she is not pestering her lawyers while working within these limitations set up so that Donna can CONTROL the situation. However this has resulted in significant chaos. This ensues that Georgia and her team will need to react rather be prepared. As others are saying this approach and these witnesses do not seem to me to be helping her case.

These irrelevant divorce witnesses confirm to me that DA was sworn in before the cellmate witness testimony at the request of her attorneys-- to cover themselves! I guess DA couldn't muster up any disgruntled FSU students-- to throw in SODDI confusion. Yup, this is DA's controlling contribution to her defense strategy. What a sad mess. JMO

This judge is so over this!

C.H.A.R.L.I.E???? He is in town and could be the next witness in his Mother's defense?

  • #631
Now the defense is holding things up trying to decide if they rest their case or not.

Such unprofessional conduct from this defense team. Anyone watching this knows who NOT to hire if they need legal help

Closings tomorrow….well maybe

Looks like Donna is going to jump up and say I changed my mind….well maybe

Judge needs to state that today's session will continue until Donna takes the stand or the defense rests. That could stop the delay tactics.

who does she think she is?

Wow!

Drama Drama Drama... LOL NO Shocker... but am shocked she's not going to get on the stand. She must finally be convinced she's cooked. She'll try to appeal on this though, absolutely. Meanwhile she's trying to figure out a way to get this judge off her case NOW. LOL.

NODAMSELINDISTRESS Thank you for your observation. Totally caught me off guard. It must have been quite a conference.....
Personally, if I was innocent, you couldn't drag me off the witness stand.

DA has her hair 'done up' today.... i think she WANTS to testify and they are trying their best to talk her out of it. JMO They are waiting to see what they can stretch out today.... She thinks she can win the case on her own.... they know she'll get up there and blow it. Again, JMHO.
I'll bet DA is just itching to get up there and testify. The arrogance that we have seen on display will convince her that if she just tells her side of the story, the jurors will sympathize with her, see that the prosecutors made a terrible mistake charging her and vote to acquit her ASAP.

As a general rule, it's a very bad decision to have someone accused of a capital crime testify on their own behalf, some defendants think they are so much smarter and clever than the jurors they'll be able to bamboozle them. The last person to try that was Erin Patterson, the infamous Australian mushroom murderer, who was recently convicted of three counts of first degree murder and one count of attempted murder.

Too bad the defense attorneys persuaded Donna not to testify. Georgia's cross would have been epic.
