I think it happens more than we know. Sean Combs tried but I’m not sure if it was found out. He definitely paid a witness to not testify. The day she was supposed to testify against him she was MIA, no show. She then showed up a few days later and completely changed her position. She went on and on about how great he was and said the things that she experienced happened years ago and he isn’t like that anymore. So she got a hefty amount.

Same thing happened with J-Z, someone was formally set to testify against him and Sean and poof she was gone.

It’s mind boggling that they had so much to be thankful for. A very comfortable life, healthy kids and grandchildren weren’t enough. It’s all about DA controlling the outcome. It had to be the way she wanted, so greedy and selfish.

Look at my first sentence, sorry I could have written that better. But there were leaks about 2 jurors being paid. Then one of them dropped out. One of his attorneys dropped out too.

These entitled celebrities think they can buy people and they do. They can pay someone’s expenses for years without it ever affecting their funds. It’s awful.

In the previous 3 trials, John Lauro was present in Leon County Court room during Wendi Adelson’s testimony, and they left promptly thereafter.

Is John Lauro still lingering in, watching Donna Adelson and Harvey Adelson making faces, during Georgia Cappleman’s closing argument?

Is Wendi Adelson currently in Tallahassee waiting for the verdict?

I wonder because John Lauro and Wendi Adelson could be watching these proceedings live from somewhere to strategize on Wendi’s prospective moves since Wendi appears to be next in line after Donna’s sought after conviction.

Yes, of course. Donna Adelson shakes her head as in "no", rolled her eyes, and moved her lips as if speaking to herself while Jackie Fulford does the closing arguments. It appears even Donna Adelson disagrees about Jackie Fulford "promoting herself" rather than defending her client.

But whatever bad befalls the Adelsons is good for Justice For Dan Markel. Hence, I am glad inept Jackie Fulford does the closing!

Tim J on STS said that showing that video would be prejudicial. zi thought the defense did a good job of provoking the prosecution to show it, but in their wisdom did not take the bait.

Donna was 100% involved and clearly guilty. Am I the only one that thinks Fulford is doing a decent job in her closing arguments? She is about ½ way through and is working with bad facts, but I think she is doing a fine job challenging the evidence.

I still think the jury get this right, but so far I think Fulford is doing a great job.

Playing devil's advocate a bit.... Jackie only has to peel away one single juror who may think Donna was involved, but doesn't feel certain that there is quite enough evidence. That's it. MOO IMO Jackie's approach might be effective in doing that. (I so hope that's not the case, however.)
