My rebuttal to this: we haven’t seen all the evidence yet. The prosecution has more, and there was a LOT left out of Donna’s trial due to relevance and time. The state has a Mt. Everest mountain of evidence to parse through and present relative to the person being charged.
I will agree, Wendi’s case will be the toughest to prosecute, however, GC prosecutes murder trials with methodical precision. She is literally an FSU champion trial coach that prosecutes many other murders, not just the Adelsons.
We did not come all this way to stop with Donna. Even in the event of a hung jury or mistrial, Georgia is not going to take her flowers and hang up her red suit, IMO, she will take things all the way until Wendi is acquitted or the case is dismissed with prejudice and there’s 0 chance of retrying her.
When Wendi said “The state isn’t going to arrest me” with that little chuckle on the stand in Katie’s trial, Georgia smirked in response and I’d bet money she thought “Not yet, but stay tuned” as she’s said recently and after Charlie was convicted.
