What could the State offer Charlie at this point?Which means his only option is to cooperate. Why wouldn't he throw WA under the bus??

IANAL, but can the state offer CA a lighter sentence now that he has been convicted and sentenced by judge and jury? Without his conviction or current sentence being set aside after successful appeal?Well LR got 19 years for cooperating, KM was offered full immunity so i don't think the State would baulk at the idea of offering CA something. If he accepted something similar to LRs deal. 19 years, with time served, he'd be out in 15 years, before his 65th birthday with still potentially another 25-30 years left to live. Or he can live in a hot concrete cage for the next 40 years whilst his sister lives the life of Reilly..
Then theres HA and the honey pot. I'm sure he is subsidizing his son and wife and maybe the princess for all we know. There is no statute of limitations for muder so we can only hope. That said I don't think CA will cooperate. I don't think any of them will. They very easily and callously killed DanM not caring about the damage they were doing to the boys, yet, paradoxically, I think they carry great shame because of what they have done. Not because they murdered someone, but they don't want the boys thinking ill of them. It's strange really, illogical. CA would prefer to spend 40 years in a prison cell rather than admit to killing Dan. Perhaps WA would take an Alford plea, she goes to prison, but does not have to admit guilt, so will possible be seen as a victim in the eyes of her sons?

I’m not sure this is a power that DA has.
Knowing the true personalities of both CA and DA I can't help but think they will turn on WA at some point. They both at their core are selfish and self centered. Not to mention putting their comfort and survival front and center, they may finally think to themselves 'not this time WA, not anymore' ...or not. JMO

Simple- they are narcissists who feel entitled. They do not think they will get caught. Reasonable people think about consequences of committing crimes and refrain from doing them. Donna thought she'd simply flee the country to a non-extradition county and she and Harvey would be home-free. Charlie didn't think that they had any evidence on him.If he really
I have to admit I don't understand the dynamics of this family. RA was so easily discarded from the family. DA encouraged her son and daughter to embark on a murder for hire plot, knowing if caught they'd die in prison. You hear the devastation in her voice when CA is convicted. You could see the simpering joy she had when she saw her beloved daughter take the stand in her trial. She clearly loves her husband, but dragged him into this...
So I'm conflicted. They are bad people with many subhuman traits, but they have connections and bonds with one another. Bonds that I don't understand. I would speculate that they're toxic bonds; for instance their mutual hatred of Dan perhaps brought them closer, but they are bonds that could easily be broken.
I think DA would throw WA and CA under the bus, but only if the circumstances were right. So probably unlikely for that to happen. CA might thrown WA under the bus. Again the stars would all have to be in alignment for that to happen. Overall, as I've said previously, they carry a deep shame in that they do not want the boys knowing what they did and also perhaps their friends too. So they plead guilty as a last, desperate resort.
Should read country, not county, too late to edit...Simple- they are narcissists who feel entitled. They do not think they will get caught. Not to mention the likelihood that the extortionists would carry out their threat to kill him!Don't think they will let a murderer out of jail, particularly with this heinous crime and the likelihood he would go after those who tested against him.
