I saw the Youtube videos by Roman and the mugshot. She looks very different in the mugshot as her eyes are bulging as they look like Sanpaku eyes. Something I have seen in Lori Drew, Casey Anthony, Yoselyn Ortega, Adam Lanza, and James Holmes.

Poor girl, I feel so sorry for kids. Shame kids can't pick their parents.

She had a sad situation all the way around...of course, it doesn't take away the accountability to those that were bullying/harassing/stalking...some can take it...some are fragile...you just don't know who will break...so you are taking that chance when you CHOOSE to bully...and you should be held accountable! I'm so glad that Judd is plastering this all over the nation...if it stops ONE bully/ONE life...then it is worth it!

Sedwick's mother, Tricia Norman, has been in trouble with the law since at least 1995, when she was charged with multiple counts of writing bad checks, according to Polk County records. In 2005, she was again charged with writing bad checks, as well as fraud and probation violation. The records reveal that Norman apparently has several aliases, including Tricia Craig, Tricia Howard and Tricia Jones.

Judd also says he has no love for the attorneys "busting in here" and the article informs the lawyers are considering lawsuits against the school & plant where Becca killed herself. They also want to go after the other kids that tormented her. With all this coming to light about her mother, I wonder if they'll consider dropping her... A mother that's been charged with fraud, and Becca having to sleep in a recliner with clothes in bags - jeesh... I can't even imagine what this poor girl was going through.

Becca could have been suffering from depression in her home life, as well as from bullying. So if the girls that were arrested for felony stalking had anything to do with Becca's suicide, and if they are held accountable for having any part in her suicide, then I wonder if the factors of Becca's home life will be considered too. Will that change things from a legal perspective?

No, not at all, that's not what I'm questioning. I'm questioning Becca's home life as a whole. According to what Judd said, the mom has been in trouble with the law since 1995, for various things including fraud. Then he also says something about her home life, her living situation. It doesn't sit well, like something doesn't seem right. Judd specifically said she had trouble in her home life that could also have contributed to her state of mind.

I agree that her family should have been her number one supporter! Absolutely. I do not think that she should profit in any possible way. I had to self-edit...I just think the mom has been through so much...I do think they are limited financially...and this should not be a reason that the family is judged. If more comes out...well...who knows...but, right now...no. The bullies are where it lies...sure she did not have an ideal home life...and yes, she likely had a predisposition to depression...that is why BULLIES should be held accountable...they don't know who can take it and who can't...no one should have to in the first place.

I know what it's like growing up poor. Kids made fun of my parents' income by telling me to not buy clothes at certain stores and instead save my money and get plastic surgery "for the sake of every person who will pass [me] at the dump." My parents bounced around low wage jobs while getting their education upgraded. It didn't help how my mother had an unintended pregnancy while studying at a community college and gave birth to my younger sister. My sister has severe autism, and the various treatments my parents tried was a financial burden even with support from the government. Then my dad got in a car accident, injured his back, and couldn't work as a truck driver anymore. My parents got into violent fights that left bruises, loud enough to the point where neighbours called police. My parents also had to move around a lot, a concept that kids at school couldn't comprehend because their parents who were settled down. I lived in the suburbs at the time, where everyone grew up together and went to all the same schools until adulthood. When my parents uprooted the family after I graduated from middle school so they can find a job, kids in that town thought it was very strange I didn't go to the high school they expected me to attend. I was all set to attend that school, having been tested and enrolled in AP Science, but my parents suddenly decided to move during the summer and there wasn't a darn thing I could do. Kids posted online about their confusion as to why I wasn't with them, and called it "disappearing" as if they had no clue it's possible to change residences. My parents continued moving when I was in high school, and since I refused to change schools again, I had to commute for long distances to reach my goal of graduating at that high school. It was very damaging to have such a disruptive childhood because it made it that much more difficult to make friends. Even if you make a friend, you know sooner or later you're not going to see them again.

My point is, schoolmates know it if a child has a difficult home life and that attracts bullies like flies. When they found out I was seeing a psychiatrist and being force fed psychiatric medications due to severe depression, their response was "You're actually crazy? Haha, ew." and asked if a local asylum was accepting new applicants. It got worse from there. I felt like I was the "chew toy" of the grade because everyone seemingly took their frustrations out on me. It's gotten physical, where I've been pushed and had objects thrown at me. I've had to miss school because someone pushed me and ran away, leaving a bruised goose egg on my head. They made fun of my appearance because I had a lazy eye and a moustache even though I am a girl. I wasn't bullied quite as severely in high school and when I was it didn't affect me because I was desensitized, or maybe there was something particularly cruel about kids at the middle school. That was Amanda Todd's town, after all.

I know! I used to watch her all of the time when she covered these kinds of cases, but after she got more political in her theme, and away from crime beat, I quit watching.

She is so much better at asking pertinent questions than is NG. And easier on the ears.
