Here is the gist of what I heard... I had my speakers on 100% but still soft talking & walking around the courtroom with out a mike. Sounds to me like the prosecution does not have their stuff toegether... after 3 years!!
4/8/25 Update: Discussion of Saldana's Defense having problems opening some of the discovery files [270 items] from the prosecution [i.e. also they have subpoenas but no return (& reports) & vis-a-versa]. Judge wants a specific list of what can't be opened & what they have. Motion to compel line by line before Thursday, 4/17/25. Discovery hearing on 4/18/25 @ 4pm. Motion to compel hearing on 5/2/25. Defense wants electronic evidence in 30 days. Judge says on 5/2/25 she wants to know about disclosure of electronic evidence. Judge asks about a trial date. Defense says until they have discovery in order they don't have a date. Judge & DA went thru certain items due to the defense by this Friday, 4/11/25. Judge wants to the State to compile with Rule of Discovery evidence 3.220. Next hearing regarding a Secret Service agent statements on 4/30/25 There will be 2 juries for trial. Judge wants to schedule trial in October or November. Next hearing on 4/14/25 @ 9am.

*Mario Enrique Fernandez Saldana (34/now 36) arrested (in Kissimmee, Orange County, 3/16/23) & charged & indicted (3/16/23) & arraigned (4/4/23) with 1st degree murder with a weapon, conspiracy to commit 1st degree murder, solicitation to commit a capital felony & child abuse. In Orange County jail waiting for transfer to Jacksonville in Duval County. Transferred to Duval County on 3/22/23. Held without bond. Plead not guilty. DA will seek the DP. Duval County

3/28/25 Update: Judge London Kite went in-depth on Friday on a host of issues, including digital evidence, to move the case forward & get the state and defense teams on the same page. Judge Kite set the next hearing for 4/8/25 @ 8am.
4/8/25 Update: Discussion of Saldana's Defense having problems opening some of the discovery files [270 items] from the prosecution [i.e. also they have subpoenas but no return (& reports) & vis-a-versa]. Judge wants a specific list of what can't be opened & what they have. Motion to compel line by line before Thursday, 4/17/25. Discovery hearing on 4/18/25 @ 4pm. Motion to compel hearing on 5/2/25. Defense wants electronic evidence in 30 days. Judge says on 5/2/25 she wants to know about disclosure of electronic evidence. Judge asks about a trial date. Defense says until they have discovery in order they don't have a date. Judge & DA went thru certain items due to the defense by this Friday, 4/11/25. Judge wants to the State to compile with Rule of Discovery evidence 3.220. Next hearing regarding a Secret Service agent statements on 4/30/25. There will be 2 juries for trial. Judge wants to schedule trial in October or November. Next hearing on 4/14/25 @ 9am.

Plead not guilty. Held without bond (murder) & $1.5M (other counts). Duval County
In Tenon's court file "on or between 1/4/22 & 2/16/22, in the county of Duval & the State of Florida, did agree, conspire, combine or confederate with other human beings to, unlawfully and from a premeditated design, effect the death of Bridegan."
Trial was set to begin on 7/19/23 was cancelled, Tenon plead guilty (3/16/23) to 2nd degree murder. Sentencing hearing on 6/14/23 was vacated & rescheduled on 7/12/23 & was vacated.

2/5/25 Update: Tenon is now saying his testimony was false. This revelation comes from a motion filed by the attorney of Mario Fernandez, who, along with his estranged wife Shanna Gardner, is accused of orchestrating the murder of Bridegan, Gardner’s ex-husband. A recent court filing reveals that Tenon, who had previously pleaded guilty to second-degree murder & agreed to testify against Gardner & Fernandez, is now changing his story.
