Everyone has probably seen this a thousand times, but it includes the early part of the person parking Jennifer's car and walking away. It's not too, too dark but it's just not clear. It's so frustrating--I want to reach in and pull away the veil so I can see clearly.

You have to be patient with it because it cuts to show pictures of Jennifer's car, but it does continue with the surveillance video.

Another thing, I noticed it doesn't show the last frame where the person turns and we believe we can see his face.

But for what it's worth:

I have a question , perhaps some of you have already pondered this......Was it merely a coincidence that Jennifer's car showed up at the HOTG shortly after Joyce Kesse called the Mosaic managers to make a wellness check at Jennifer's apartment? Could someone from the Mosaic have called the POI driving Jennifer's car and tell him to get rid of that car as they did not have as long as they thought to get rid of it?

I have always thought that the POI was foolish to drive Jennifer's car and risk being seen driving it but what if he only had to drive it a short distance to the HOTG?

How many unsolved abductions are there where cameras have caught the suspected perpetrator parking the victims car and then been photographed again walking away from the vehicle?
Date, time stamp included.

The POI took a risk taking the car but as a deception it has worked for eleven years.

What are the police holding back that only the perpetrator would know?

There HAS to be more to the video of the POI parking Jennifer's car, why else would OPD hold onto the video for I think around 17 months and only release what they released at the Kesse's insistence? The part that was released is useless.....I know early on OPD was asking for people to come forward who may have seen Jennifer or her car along John Young Parkway between Americana and Texas Ave.....There have been searches for her in this area a few times I believe.....

What is OPD holding back? Do they have a video of the suspect and are awaiting additional evidence to make an arrest?

I always taught it is someone who did some work in the office like a maintenance man,a painter, he had an access to the keys, also the machine who makes keys was in the office.
When the kesses called the office to check on jennifer, that's when the poi took a lunch break and went to his house and drove Jennifer's car back to park it near by, or he called his accomplish to get rid of the car.
It was around noon the poi/accomplish drove car
He took a chance driving in daylight but John Young Pkwy is a big busy road and the chances a police will stop the car is slim

Also at noon ,if the poi saw the family members arrived at the mosaic ,maybe he was in the office when they called ,he knew he needed to act fast but he wasn't worried driving Jennifer's car at daylight because the police didn't look for a missing person yet.
He knew it takes time until they figured out what's going on

The argument could be made that the POI was warned that the Kesse's were on their way to Jennifer's whether it was a worker at the Mosaic or one of the managers.....Coincidence probably but reasonable doubt exists that it was not merely coincidence...

Has anyone ever thought about why the Kesse's immediately thought something was wrong that Jennifer did not show up for work? Yes, I know that they have said that she never once in all of the time that she had had a cell phone never answered it , it never went to voicemail.... I have two grown daughters, I of course do not know for sure what I would do if I got a call that one of them had not shown up for work.....I believe I would take the wait and see approach....they are grown women, life happens, things happen with cars, they may have had an appointment that they forgot to tell their employer about.....I honestly do not believe that I would have jumped in the car and driven to their home because they were two to three hours late for work....

Were they concerned because Jennifer had expressed concern about the jeering Mosaic workers? Had she told them that someone tried to get into her apartment one night not long before she disappeared?

Or, had something happened that would cause immediate concern for Jennifers well being? Had there been threatening phone calls made to her on her land line phone while Logan was there at her apartment? Had someone again tried to get into her apartment one night when Logan and his friends were there? Had someone pushed a threatening note under her door while Logan was there?

I think the phone being off (going to voicemail) and not showing up for an important meeting at work where the employer is concerned and calls you is all most parents would need to make an hour and a half drive to their daughter's home, with condo office staff having checked and waiting.

Circumstances such as parents being tied up with business themselves or other obligations could delay a lot of people from being able to take off, though.

I have to share something personal.
I had a beagle for many years, beagles are escape artists and our jacky run away few times in the past but always came back.
A little over a year ago I came home and Jacky was not there. He escaped and never came back.
I keep thinking in my mind ... where is my jacky ? did he got hit by a car... did someone else found him...if yes,is the new owner treat him good?..
and maybe a coyote killed him...
The not knowing part is very hard.
Losing a dog is so trivial compare to losing a child, and still I am sad and I miss my dog .
I can't imagine what the Kesses are going through... tragic

.

The death of one of my dogs always buckles me. I think just losing one would be even worse.
You have my sympathy.

I'm an old geezer but there is a photo of Jennifer taken on her last vacation that always made me weepy.
She had a wonderful smile and looked so happy and nobody knew what lay ahead.

Hate is a powerful word but I have to say I hate these perpetrators with a passion.
They wouldn't want me running any prison they were in.

The trail of wreckage they leave in their wake is dreadful. It is intolerable this one walks free.

Right, but was she upset enough that he didn't say I love you that she cheated? A lack in judgment?? I' was just trying to think of a reason why she might've left her apartment.

Wait a minute . That's not what Rob said . To paraphrase we were both tired so we told each other we loved and said goodnight .

She on a previous occasion(NOT talking about the last phone call she had with Rob) per her father Drew, told Rob that she loved him , she was upset that he did not respond that he loved her...

I made that statement because Heyits stated she may have been cheating on Rob and turned her phones off.....She loved him and I do not believe that the phones were turned off because she was cheating on him.....

Why do you turn off some other person's phone left in your condo because you're going somewhere?

Why turn off your own phone for that matter?

The phones being turned off is huge in this case don't you think RD?

Is it possible that the suspect took the phones , especially Jennifers so that he could possibly monitor the voicemails coming in from family and friends to determine if they were getting suspicious that something was wrong? Or, if they had notified the police that they had lost contact with her?

I was reading on Jennifers guestbook page and was moved by a comment Drew made....He said, "we just need one more piece of information, just one more piece to move this case forward".....what could that piece be? Does OPD already have a good idea who abducted Jennifer but need dna or visual or physical proof that he was involved ?

LE must surely have a suspect or two in mind.
Those seven binders of investigative material they hold must contain more that photos of the POI and a few interviews with Jennifer's friends and acquaintances.

marable, I agree with you and think the key to solving this case is the phones. Who turned them off; why were they turned off; were they turned off at the same time or did the battery run out in Travis' phone as I've read elsewhere; were they turned off or were the batteries removed? If we could figure that out, it would at least narrow down whether Jennifer was taken the night of the 23rd, or the morning of the 24th. I just don't understand why LE insists she was taken in the morning if the phones were powered down the night before. The thought has crossed my mind a few times that maybe Jennifer turned her phone off to "punish" Rob if they had gotten in a fight (something I've done with boyfriends before just so they can't get ahold of me), but that doesn't explain why the other phone was turned off at the same time. The phone thing drives me mad because I think it means a lot in this case.

OPD has said the timeframe is between 10 pm and 8 am or so.....I don't think they know or at least they haven't published it if they do....

The thing about Jennifer turning her phone off is that her family said from the time she was given a cell phone she had never once turned it off, it had never gone to voicemail AND she used her phone as an alarm clock....she had a very important meeting that she was to lead I believe around 11 am on Tuesday morning so you know she would not want to be late or miss that meeting....

The phone has always driven me nuts to....to my way of thinking Jennifer did not or would not have done it .....So, who did? How did this person(s) access those phones, when they were turned off were they still in her apartment or in her car(I have read the phones last pinged in different directions?
