@WJXTPulliam: I asked state attorney Angela Corey "who will be called tomorrow to the stand?" She says "I can't say but it will be big."#michaeldunn trial

All in all a good day for the prosecution. Even their *prisoner* was extremely credible. See y'all at 9 am.

I thought the witness said he gave the tag # to a store employee and they wrote it down on a brown paper bag.......I could be wrong

That's possible, I could be wrong I'll go look back at the tweets I was following.

@RachelLeitao: Atkins reading license plate number he wrote down on brown bag after seeing dark car leave Gate station.

Perhaps the reporter is just mistaken.

@WJXTPulliam: Atkins says the man's lady friend was frantic. Shooter and lady drove off fast. He took down the plate #. #MichaelDunn trial

https://twitter.com/WJXTPulliam

Doesn't say what he took it down on. I could very well be mistaken. But then why focus on the handwriting?

IDK, I just hope I'm wrong and the defense doesn't think they have a gotcha for their closing arguments that slipped past the prosecution. I think I will have to re-watch his testimony later when it's up on the YouTube.

In the morning, Rouer saw a news report about a shooting at a Jacksonville gas station, in which a 17-year-old had been killed, and rather than call police, the couple packed their bags and drove 130 miles home to Satellite Beach, where Dunn was finally apprehended.
Dunn "was waiting till we get around people we know" to call authorities, and he wanted to ensure "our dog and everybody were where they needed to be. I did not want to bring a s**tstorm down on them in Jacksonville," he told interrogators the day after the shooting.
Strolla added that it wasn't Dunn who ordered pizza, but Rouer, who was nervous meeting Dunn's family for the first time that day. She hadn't eaten much at Dunn's son's wedding and ordered the pizza because she was hungry, Strolla said.
"She's the one who watched the movie to put herself to sleep," the defense attorney said.
Rouer is also to blame for the couple traveling home the next morning, he said. She was "petrified" and "didn't know the law of self-defense" and begged Dunn to take her back to Satellite Beach, Strolla said.

Poor darling... She walks out cool as a cucumber seeing her bf shoot at a car 8 times and gets petrified the next morning.

What trial were you watching, he couldn't remember anything or didn't see anything.

BBM.

Well, except for Dunn's license plate. And IMO that's a pretty big anything.

I know we can't link to blogs but I'm a huge fan of Andrew Branca; he's covering this trial and I highly recommend web searching to find his excellent legal commentary.

Something tells me he is not the one who seen it. I'll be honest with you ,that boy didn't act or look like he could remember how to tie his own shoes!

Any ideas on why this witness would allegedly commit perjury today & testify to something he never actually "seen"?

Defense is going against everyone with his patronizing tone lol I have seen enough from those 3 witnesses that says Dunn is guilty as sin. Did u hear them shots after the first few? Like 10 secs after and he still shooting?? SMH, sickening

Michael Dunn is not denying that he was the shooter and the police were able to track him down at his home pretty fast so it's likely that someone in fact saw the licence plate number. It might as well have been the guy who testified at the trial he did. Occam's razor I think. I don't see any need to postulate a conspiracy here. No one is trying to frame MD for shooting someone he didn't shoot. He fully admits that it was him and his car and his gun and his licence plate.

Damn right, waste of a trial and money. But as someone said, this is Florida. We are dealing with youths who listen to *hip hop* they must have done something wrong.....Sickening

When I was seventeen "older" people complained about rock-n-roll. If the music bothered Dunn that much he had a choice to move his car. Secondly, the driver had just walked out and gotten into his car. Within the next minute they would have been gone. Other than the fact those young men will probably have hearing problems as they grew older they were doing nothing wrong.

Dunn said himself during his statement at police headquarters that he was dealing with personal stuff so did that affect his judgment that day. Was he already aggravated when he decided to take it out on these young men? jmo

He is the only one who wrote down the number and it was, in fact, Dunn marker number for his black Jetta. What was important about Atkins' statement was what he did not see. He did not see any of the men in the SUV hide a gun in the bushes.

On another note I think the "big" witness today may be the ME. jmo
