Don't like juror 9...
I would love for him to take the stand. Pepper him with rapid-fire questions, in a not-so-respectful tone, and yep, his true colors will come out.
Ask him about those letters from jail and you would have fireworks.
I've already agreed with you, but would also like to see the former police captain in the Tampa theater shooting take the stand, too. Same reason, he'd go off at being questioned and disrespected.
My opinion, though.
About to watch day 2 now, I am from London so I be getting the footage hours later lol But I have to say, this trial just went straight into the good ish, no waiting around. I was watching the Amanda Hayes trial which is on day 8, no mention of what Amanda actually did as of yet lmao just saying...

It's possible Brunson is confused about what child locks are. Maybe Davis tried to get out of the car but it was locked. But if the backseat passengers are able to get out on their own then the child locks aren't on.
Also, I think it's actually good that the boys are admitting to things like their music was too loud, Dunn was polite when he asked to turn music down, Davis was cursing, etc. it shows they aren't lying or exaggerating. So far, Dunn's version sounds like a gross exaggeration. NO ONE has said he got out of the car, threatened to kill Dunn, had a gun, nothing, not even those who could see the SUV. That sounds like an add on to make Dunn seem more justified. I still don't see the justification for shooting at a car of unarmed young men.
I have child locks on my doors. You have to press a button in the front panel to unlock them. The idea is that no child will be able to unlock the doors and they lock automatically when you start to drive. They can only be released from the front. I also have window locks which are controlled in the front.
Yes, I know what child locks are. It just seems there was some confusion as to if there were child locks on the doors and the windows or just the windows. I was wondering if maybe the one who said there were child locks on the doors was mistaken since another said there weren't. If they could get out the back doors without help from the outside then there were no child locks. If they couldn't then there were. But the driver says there were child locks so I'm inclined to believe him and go with the child locks were on. Our cars always have window locks too. Seems those were on.
No snark intended!
LOL. None perceived. Most owners automatically press the unlock button getting out of the car when there are others in the backseat. I do it all the time so that my granddaughters can get into the car and out as I have to unlock them first. I believe it was the defense attorney who made a big issue over the doors being opened up when the SUV stopped after being shot and how the back doors was seen as opened. I would say the driver probably unlocked the doors before getting out so they could all look at the car. I don't think they realized at the time that JD was dead or even shot at the moment they stopped. But the doors always lock once you start to drive and I would imagine that is going to be too hard to prove. jmo
