Every defense attny is sneaky in their own way IMHO, but I can't say that I remember a defense attny calling an official press conference like this during jury deliberations.... As opposed to just walking out on the courthouse steps and drawing the reporters attention like an impromptu presser. To me, this reeks of yuck factor.

I think Judge should prohibit lawyers from talking to media before verdict! Feel really serious about this!

Well as an attorney, I really think he is grandstanding. I'm not even sure it is ethical - I don't think it would be in CA. Each state has their own rules, but this is just an attention getting move and it serves no purpose as far as I can tell. I'm not even listening.

Naturally he wanted racism out of the case. We are fortunate to have the ability to read his letters. The man is a die-hard racist. It is part of this trial, even if unspoken.

I heard mention of gunshots in that video, but did not hear the actual sounds of gunshots. Saw the young man who provided information to ID Dunn's vehicle!

what kind of double talk was his answer. MD settled a civil case but did not agree to it? can anyone explain that and is it normal to settle a civil suit before the actual state case.
