Didn't Rhonda also say to the cashier that it was Michael with the gun, so she wasn't concerned? They had his first name too.

I thought that was sort of telling..like oh "just michael with a gun" nothing to worry about. Seems like this is definitely not the first time Rhonda has seen him use/bring out the gun in similar circumstances.

I wondered about this. If this family had money and power as I've seen suggested why didn't the defense produce their own ME and Ballistics exams and reports. This really was a poor defense imo for an affirmative defense. He calls a couple of friends of his clients parents, the father of the victim, and MD himself, and thats it.

Play-on-words by defense. State did not produce one, used the ME's testimony instead. But defense did not put on an ME or a Ballistics expert so why complain about the State when you failed to defend your client by not introducing experts. The only one they tried to introduce for MD's (PTSD) the judge ruled could not testify because he was not qualified.

The obvious "lack of funds" was also unethical, in my opinion. jmo

Yea, I know. I'm just upset that he would stoop so low as to bring it up.

Why? What bad thing was he trying to imply by mentioning it? I didn't hear it myself. Just saw the posts here. Sounds like he was just pointing out that the settlement wasn't an admission of guilt -- which it isn't, but a lot of people see it that way ime. jmo

The video has audio on it as well. Maybe they want to see if they can hear any of the exchange between JD and MD or how loud the music was.

I read today that the Dunn family is out of money to pay the lawyers. Maybe Strolla wants to set up a website to collect money for lawyers fees and he thinks this Presser is a good start toward that end? I cannot fathom what is going through his mind. Just smarmy IMHO, and I think the Judge might feel somewhat the same. This judge is a good man.

Maybe they could take-up donations at the airfield community where Dunn wrapped himself in the air of affluence. Jmo

Or maybe how quickly it happened. Considering the video is in slowish motion, I was kind of surprised how quickly it happened. Rhonda really was not in there for that long.

Thank you for posting this. This video, for some reason, made me incredibly sad. I guess because it is real time. Hearing the siren approaching, knowing that Jordan Davis was dying or dead at this point, just was hard.

Watching RR go towards the doors, unafraid, after hearing gunshots and say "Michael?" and then disappear from sight. She didn't come back in and say Call 911. Dunn and Rouer knew right from wrong. Dunn is a coward, no matter how he tries to justify his actions. Coward, insecure with a gun. Jmo

Seeing this version for the 1st time now... Rhonda R. testified that she told the woman at checkout counter that if it's Michael shooting then everybody in the store will be OK, "Michael is a good guy with a gun". I didn't get the impression on this video that she had long enough to say that at the counter before she went out the door saying "Michael?"
