I had a different take on what the judge was saying. He was referring to another case (remember when Casey was SCREAMING and folks in the room heard her from behind the door). He only said he wasn't familiar with this new courtroom, and possibly *muffled* sounds perhaps... so in the name of caution, he said no one in the room.

The audio of this interview and two others were published last week. There are two more neighbors who spoke of his two most recent ex-wives' treatment by Dunn. One had an eye-witness account.

Right now Rhonda is probably too scared to move but I'll bet her kid(s) are seeing this stuff and she will be enlightened. She is just another in the string of weak women...he had the green card and deportation over those women's head and no doubt threatened Rhonda with other things...maybe she was broke and he supported them etc.

I'm getting sleepy and hungry. Going to drive thru Sonic in my PJ's and hoodie later on and get me a double cheeseburger, tater tots, and a Route66 diet Coke for Valentines Day. Mmmmm, yummy. Only I could think about burgers so early in the morning. :blushing:

There would be absolutely no reason for him to treat her any differently than the others. I think it is really bad that he was not checked for drugs and alcohol as soon as they got to him...i would think at least the drugs would still be present. After watching this interview and just looking at MD is should have been considered.

Clearly Hendrix and his wife have some points to make...guns are a problem and people like MD walking around with loaded guns make this world a scary place...they are very anti gun (as am I) but aside from that ...i think most of what was said would be easily verifyed but no doubt no acceptable in court...certainly is interesting though as we wait for the outcome.

I don't believe the State can introduce prior bad acts. While there were no arrests, there should have been. The neighbor complains that MD is shopping for a hit man and they do nothing. Great to know. Seems to me LE could have a least pulled the man's gun and taken away his concealed gun permit. But it is Florida. jmo

He wasn't the only neighbor who gave a statement about MD's misbehavior and abuse of his wives. I think more will come to the surface after the trial. I think his life, as he knew it, is pretty much over either way. jmo

Just speculation here but IMO this could be why MD's insurance company settled so fast. And this is why information about the lawsuit was kept quiet. Not by Mr. Davis, for sure, but by MD's attorneys. Had this gotten out prior to court it would have taken the jury an hour to deliberate. Very powerful and we can see they are telling the truth by MD's demeanor on the stand. jmo

I didn't know it was his insurance company that settled. Do you know if car or homeowner's? Just curious. It's extremely rare that we hear the settlement details in any case, so I'm not surprised that they were kept secret.

Knowing now that voices were raised in the jury room due to thin walls, and the long time for deliberations, I must say I'm concerned about a hung jury.

I'd rather they hang than see him walk

I know I've said this before but a huge red flag for me is that Dunn had no longtime friends testify on his behalf. IMO, it was very telling that only his parents' friends were character witnesses. That speaks volumes and I hope it doesn't escape the jury.

We can only hope that the reason the jury's taking so long is that they are arguing over murder 1 or murder 2. JMO. OMO. MOO.
