Ah, a character witness.
I remember from the first trial that the character witnesses were pretty much his mother and father's friends. I don't remember this man, who says he was his mentor... anyone else remember if he testified last time?
Call me dense, but wth is the purpose of these witnesses? I thought character witnesses were for penalty phases? Confuzzed.
Aside from Knox and their own ME, who will testify last, Dunn, and this group are about all the defense has.
Can you tell I'm rabid about this portion of the trial? It will make or break the case, like last time.
In the first trial, they barely challenged these people and Dunn.
When are they wrapping this up for today?
When are they wrapping this up for today?
The thing is, the prosecution cannot challenge them because they no nada about the case. They are irrelevant to the case and I honestly don't understand why the judge allowed them to testify. I honest to god don't get it.
Right after this witness. She should take about 40 minutes if my recollections of trial #1 are correct.
Judge said that this witness is the final one for the day.
Originally, in the first trial, the defense had a ton more of these friends, but Judge Healy limited the number.
Wonder if his children will testify for him again?
