FL- Jose Pagan Jr., aged just 14, arrested on terrorism and child pornography charges, Wimaua, 4 February 2026

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has arrested 14-year-old, Jose Pagan Jr., on terrorism and child pornography charges. On January 31, 2026, HCSO received a tip that he had access to weapons and was planning to conduct a mass shooting at a church near his home in Wimauma. It was also determined that Pagan was possibly connected to an active HCSO child pornography investigation.

HCSO served a search warrant at Pagan's home where they found multiple firearms, ammunition, and electronic devices containing child pornography.

Pagan was arrested and has been charged with:

• Written or Electronic Threat to Conduct a Mass Shooting or Act of Terrorism
• In State Transmission of Child Pornography by Electronic Device
• Solicitation or Possession of Child Pornography 10 or More Images and Content of Images (x14)
• Unlawful Use of Two Way Communications Device (x2)

This is quite the combo.. Can't think of Terrorism and Child Pornography charges on the same docket.. and a 14 year old to boot. He has the face of evil..

What is so concerning is that he will likely get a slap on the wrist, even if it is FL, and will be back in the community as a young adult. The adults in his life have clearly failed him and he is a danger.
