I could not find any articles on Joseph. I don't have an Ancestry subscription, but I searched Joseph's name there and one of the first results was a Department of Veterans Affairs BIRLS Death File. I guess this means he was in the military at some point? There is also a possible marriage/divorce record with a M.

Also, @Caring1 could you post Joseph's exclusions?

It's kind of odd that NamUs mentions his family looking for him in different states and countries and there is no news articles I could find.
It would also be nice if we knew more about the last time he was seen; did anyone else see him, where was his boat, did he have coworkers etc.

NamUs says his boat didn't go missing with him, but it doesn't say if it was in it's usual spot or anything.
