this is a strange one folks:

A body was found in the Peace River two miles south of the bridge where a woman was allegedly pushed into the water on Sunday even though she couldn't swim.

According to witnesses, a woman was standing on the ledge of the Morgan Park Bridge over the Peace River on Sunday afternoon when Mark Alan Huntley Jr pushed her into the water.

When the woman didn't resurface Huntley and Andrew Skevington jumped into the water to try to save her.

Skevington and Huntley allegedly fled the scene with the woman's belongings when deputies arrived to the scene, reports said.

Huntley was arrested on Monday and charged with manslaughter. Skevington was arrested Sunday and charged with manslaughter – accessory after the fact.

and another snip:

All we know is that she's possibly from the Tampa area. She's a black female, 18-25 years of age. We were told her first name was possibly Keisha," said Sheriff Wise.

According to the Charlotte Sun-Herald, dated May 7, 2014:

Both men entered pleas; Huntley was sentenced to two years in prison for tampering with evidence. Skevington got two years' probation for the same. Homicide charges were dropped.
