I'm sorry, I honestly don't see anything but a bluish blur in these images that is perhaps vaguely suggestive of an adult human? Maybe? I wouldn't have thought so if you hadn't said beforehand that you thought there was a person in these. Is there any way you could brighten or up the contrast here?

I only have access to what iOS9 can do :blushing: and I'm new to the filters. That said, I apologize in advance, as this is the 1st time I've used them (not my best work)

I can make out the form of a child now, but the resolution is blurry. The adult appears to be wearing something on ?his? left wrist. Also, there's a difference in color clothing the adult is wearing.
Once you start messing with the contrast and saturation, it's hard to say what s/he was actually wearing. I'm wondering if that's what I'm seeing at the top of what should be the ?child's? head: Is this blonde hair, a cap, or...? Remember, we were told he only had on a diaper.
ETA: great find Classito. These images are worth analysis by someone with the right software.

Good job with the image kimi_SFC, and it certainly does appear to be a baby, but too young to be Lonzie from what i can make out visually. It looks to me more like a 6-8 month old and not an almost 2 yr. old.

Does anyone have more information about a diaper that is listed as evidence? It is laying in the grass near water.

If something is listed as evidence, does that mean it is connected to the case, or possibly something that LE wants to do forensics on?

The text message conversation happened in June, just before Lonzie disappeared on July 24. At the beginning of the exchange, a person listed as Wanda Ebron talked about Ebron apparently wrecking her car and injuring someone.

"I don't hate you; I despise your stupidity, and lack of remorse for your behavior," Wanda Ebron wrote on June 15 at 1:20 a.m., listed on the transcripts as 5:20 a.m. UTC, according to the documents.

FROM NEWS4JAX
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - New evidence released by the State Attorney's Office in the case against Ruben Ebron, the man linked to the disappearance of toddler Lonzie Barton this summer, include hundreds of text messages that appear to show Ebron buying and selling drugs regularly in the months before Lonzie disappeared.

[...]

The messages with Ebron's mother, Wanda Ebron, show she hated his lifestyle and called him "a pathological liar and a sociopath" in one hostile exchange.

"I despise your stupidity and lack of remorse for your behavior," Wanda Ebron wrote. She said that he was raised better than this and that his alleged drug dealing and dating life were out of hand.

[...]

“It really paints picture of who he is,” News4Jax crime and safety analyst Gil Smith said. “It really tells about his character. What type of person he is. What types of activities he's involved in it.”[...]

it just took me three days to catch up since thread one. i tried not to look at any other media and mimic a 'real time' experience in the information we aquired.

honestly i think that lonzie wasn't supposed to 'die'. he was injured (most likely on purpose out of anger) and LLB and WRE were too afraid to take him for help thinking they would end up in trouble with CPS or the law. So they sat on this situation with this poor kid, hoping that he would get better. I'm not 'defending' them when I say this but I don't think they realized how serious his injury was.

Then when the unthinkable happened, Lonzie's death, instead of taking their chances and calling 911 for help, they concocted an unbelievable story (which to them at the time probably made sense due to their distorted thinking on drugs), and hid lonzie somewhere hoping he wouldn't be found so they would not be able to determine COD, and that LE would believe their kidnapping story. That was incredibly stupid on their part. Now they are in 10x more trouble for not only hiding a death, but the police will never believe it was an 'accident' because they are LIARS.

Their kidnapping story failed, and i bet if it really was just an 'accident', they would have broken down and pled for mercy, but they KNOW if that poor child is found his skull will most likely show that he died of foul play. I don't think he fell down the stairs 'by accident', or drowned in the tub. the stairs were carpeted, so he may have tumbled, but I don't believe he would have ended up with such a bruise, nor a probable skull/brain injury. He was struck by a hand or an object or thrown (maybe even down the stairs) with force. blunt force trauma.

Since the injury happened before LLB went to work (as evidenced by observation of another person earlier in the afternoon), I can't say who delivered the injury. I might guess LLB, as if it was all WRE's doing, she would have thrown him under the bus. "yes he hurt my child, and even though i was too stupid to realize how serious it was, I didn't dispose of him either'. they both must have culpability and are therefore covering for each other. 'you keep your mouth shut on the abuse and i'll keep my mouth shut that you hid the 'baby'.

They really screwed the pooch on this one. yes they would have to pay for what they did, but they will pay much much more for their lies and coverup on this. more charges now for those two clueless people.

After watching some of the interview tapes (involving both LLB and RE) posted recently, I honestly don't know what to think anymore. The tape that showed LB consoling RE and sitting on his lap with the blanket just made my jaw drop. I usually don't judge parents by their visible reactions or emotions on camera, but the fact that LLB was so far from even appearing stressed or panic stricken on that first day just amazed me. I'm thinking of how most mums would be frantic and unable to sit still if their child was missing for even a few minutes (I can remember being barely able to breathe when my four year old son was separated from us in a busy shopping centre for about 15 panic filled minutes ) - I just didn't see that in LLB at all.
Then in the recording where she finally challenges RE (after his arrest) to tell her where he is, it seems half hearted at best. IMO her angry pleading didn't seem too genuine at all - if she had used Lonzie's name just once (rather than repeatedly calling him her effing kid, I would have been a little more convinced that she wasn't just performing for the interview room cameras.
RE's tears and demeanor seemed much more believable than hers IMO, but I'm not sure whether he was upset about Lonzie or the fact that he had been arrested.

ETA - the detectives dealing with them are fabulous IMO.

I feel the same way. I'm so confused. I even wondered if LLB Challenging RE was fake. It's just all so bizarre. IDk if it's drugs, but her behaviour is certainly strange. And my kid, my kid, my kid. ARGH he has a name! I clapped when the detective said that to her!

Lonna's criticism of LE's debunking of the carjacking story seemed genuine to me. For me, this fact was evidence that she did not know what happened to Lonzie. Not proof. Just one point in her favor of not knowing.

How much time are they looking at for their current charges?? Tia

I'm throwing my hat into the circle of confusion too. While we don't know what Lonna's IQ is it's reasonable to think that her heavy drug use has scrambled her brains and maybe her emotions. I just don't know.

What we do know is that Lonna lied right at the very beginning so it's near impossible to sort out when she's lying and when she's telling the truth. Any mother who continues to lie after a police officer tells her that her child is missing can't be trusted.

In the meantime I reviewed the msm interview she and CB gave on August 14. I believe it was done shortly after the video of her and Ebron where he tells her he's not "the key" because she repeated that in the msm interview.

So... trying to piece her statements loosely together it appears that around that time she was "agreeing" with LE that Ebron knew where Lonzie was. But days later she tells the community:

"I do not believe my baby was murdered. That's one thing that I refuse to believe, that evidence has not been put in my face, or on paper or in proof in front of me and that's one thing that I will not come to terms with, as far as even my baby not being alive, because until someone can prove otherwise, my b- I hope I … I can't help but I hope that someone has him that is taking good care of him."

http://www.firstcoastnews.com/story...rents-interview-believe-child-alive/31758843/

Four days later, on August 18, she was arrested for child neglect and lying to the police. So far we've heard her say that she thought CB was the perp and then she changed her mind, that Ebron knew where Lonzie was, that she believes Lonzie is alive and finally that maybe Lonzie got into drugs and overdosed.
