What was his job at the Sunland Center? I wonder if he was lured away by someone who worked there but lived offsite? I can't imagine what he would have that anyone would want, like money.

Sunland centers have a bad reputation. I looked around the net a bit. You might find Wikipedia interesting. Didn't know if they were allowed here.

So this is not true. He does have a history of wandering away, even when visiting his family based on the article. Did they ever find his new bike? Maybe someone wanted it, took it and harmed him? In February it would be dark by 5:00pm. Did he get hit by a car while riding his bike and someone hid the bike and his body?

What businesses were across the street at the time? The employees could have recognized him as someone who wandered around occasionally. Did they see him on his bike?

Louis is not the only person to have disappeared from this facility. On December 6th 2002, 18 year old Franklin Woodrow Weekley disappeared from the Sunland Training Center without any explanation. He was discovered missing at 5:30 am from his room in the Hayes House. He had been in the facility for about a year after being placed there for his own protection by a circuit court. His parents stated they believed he was abused there and the day prior to his disappearance, workers used so much force to restrain him he required 5 stitches to his face afterwards. He

Franklin was subsequently written off as a runaway. In December 2004, his skeletal remains along with his underwear and under shirt were discovered in the basement of an abandoned building 500 yards away from the Hayes House where he was last seen. His death was never solved.
