I dont think you missed it....what I found in the docs she only referenced it as the 'plan' she made with SS. her family (gm) claims she didnt know about him coming there. the roommate had no idea he was there, heck, she claims she didnt even know Madeline was there that nite because she was supposedly asleep when she came home. (I struggle with her not knowing...she's sound asleep at 8:30-8:45pm?) and she made a point she sleeps with the tv on LOUD. interesting add-on.

judging from SS mother saying she had something to give her and KNOWING in advance (a week or two) he was going there sunday....dad claims he didnt know that far in advance, he said he only knew he was leaving sunday. SS mother mentions the call and assumes it was Madeline. she didnt speak with Madeline. SS father claims that saturday, SS was freaked out.

but as far as JS telling Madeline he was coming IMO it could have been friday or saturday while at gm's because saturday she was in tears and didnt want to go home and spent the day with her grandfather.

no mention at all that JS spent time with Madeline on her actual birthday.

subpoena interview: she never says WHEN she actually told Madeline he was coming there and she wasnt specifically asked that question:

WJ: Okay. Alright. Now, Madeline, does she lay out her clothes for school the next day, or is that something she gets in the morning, makes a game-time decision like my kid?

JS: (Quick Sigh) Typically It is a game-time decision, morning of.

WJ: Okay, what about this specific evening, do you remember anything about it?

JS: Yes. This evening we had, um, I had already discussed PRIOR to Stephan coming to visit that he was going to help me take Maddie to school that day. Um, so because I knew that that was what was going to happen that night, I had asked Maddie to pick out your clothes, have everything ready, have your backpack ready, your water bottle, everything you need ready, so that way you could just grab your stuff and head out. It won’t be too much--too much of a hassle in the morning. Um, and so she did. She picked out her clothing. I asked her what she was wearing, and she told me what she had picked out. I said, “Okay, fine.” <---no specific timeframe for this exchange and basically the discussion was with SS, not Madeline.

so when was PRIOR? IMO, Madeline was blindsided on saturday. in that interview, JS never saw the clothes she picked out. she was 'told by Madeline'. IMO, contact by JS with Madeline was all by phone leading up to Madeline being taken to her party and returned home. of course, Im confident LE has all of the phone communication times for all of them.

I cannot understand why gm didnt disclose to LE WHY Madeline was upset on saturday. surely, she asked her?
Um, so because I knew that that was what was going to happen that night, I had asked Maddie to pick out your clothes, have everything ready, have your backpack ready
Wow She knew what was gonna happen that night. WOW. "Have your backpack ready". Weird that the backpack wound up in the dumpster, along with her laptop that she never got on that night. MOO

I find it crazy talk for JS to say she was cautious about being protective of Madeline against friends' brothers and not wanting MS to fly alone to visit her father, and in the beginning of their relationship, always watching Stephan for anything "weird", while making a "rule" that they couldn't sleep in the same bed ... but then she lets them sleep together anyway, over and over again. Since she stated to police during her car ride that Madeline has slept with her since she was a young child, it only makes sense that Madi was in bed with them nightly for their entire relationship. I imagine Madi was even present when they had sex, that's how insane it seems. Her stories will never make sense to me. And in the end, it wouldn't have mattered if they slept together or not because SS assaulted her whenever and wherever he could manage it, and he did that from the very beginning. And JS never protected her daughter.
MOO.

well, we really dont know if this conversation ever happened. there was no water bottle in her backpack. and this: she NEVER went into Room #4 after she went missing. yet, she finds her phone in her makeshift bedroom.....and calls Madeline's phone when she didnt come out claiming 'she forgot she took it with her'. whattttttttttttttttt?

and hasnt had a job for several years...living off of disability and was home basically all of the time with Madeline. where from all accounts, the SA took place.

Right. We only Jen's word. Not Madeline's. MOO

Makes me wonder if perhaps others (such as MS) were not allowed to take a phone to room #4? That was ‘SS’ room right? Or is it known how MS phone got into that unsecured space MS had in the living room that morning? There was also that early discussion or statements from JS or SS IIRC that they had checked her phone that morning? Something about anything possibly deleted from it or details on MS ‘crush’ was it?

Sadly….. the more revealed and understood and explained anew the more IMO it seems to implicate SS as well as perhaps JS? MOO

Madeline Soto case: Police have no plans to charge Jennifer Soto, sources say Deputies have not found any evidence to charge her at this time. "At this time". Interesting. MOO

Maddie slept upstairs and her phone was found downstairs the next day. J had asked that her school clothes should be ready from the night before. Were her school clothes meant to be ready for her upstairs or downstairs?

If everything was ready for her upstairs, then would J be surprised to see the phone downstairs?

re : I know women choose men over kids all the time, but in the face of a murder?
but in this case they had 1700 photos of him SAing her daughter, and she would soon find out he was charged and go to jail for life. Even then she continued to protect this story, remained in denial. That to me is mind blowing.
And in the “gray couch” interview with LE she isn’t yet sure if she wants to press charges. WHAT?

MOO.

Bingo. The assaults happened MANY, MANY times over years in the home. Where was JS? I'd like to synch her schedule to the timestamps on SS's stash of photos.

jmo

I believe she will eventually be charged. Once she has served her purpose for LE and they determine the appropriate charge. She will not snivel her way out of this predicament IMO.
IA. There is some reason they are holding off. And I believe it’s bc SS will allege that JS allowed the abuse bc she knew about it, and that she played either a role in the murder or the coverup.

Since these two seemed to manipulate each other, there is a high possibility the defense thinks they have a chance at pointing the finger away from SS. JMO.

and.....her interview indicated the plan was he was staying THE WEEK not one day. it wasnt for just monday. and this: they (JS and SS) discussed him staying there 'so he can get on his feet', maybe get an apartment.....and here is another maybe, he would stay with her as a 'companion', a 'friend'. claims it was just a discussion.

IMO, it was definitive he would be moving back in and somehow she would hide that fact from her family (namely her dad, so SS would not have to pay rent).

the whole relationship narrative is chaos on the surface as to how she explains it. but IMO it was a 'controlled' environment JS did not want to give up, too dangerous because:

when Madeline was murdered, her life was mostly insulated and she was isolated from normal teen things, such as being picked up after school by a friend's family and staying there the afternoon to do homework and hang out, do teen stuff in someone else's house. nope, Madeline was traditionally picked up by JS and on occasion by immediate family. IMO, JS could not trust Madeline to be totally alone with friends and their families, EVER....she may let it all out.

IMO, Madeline was moving toward disclosure. as an aside, it must have been difficult for Madeline to hear other girl talk or get togethers which she wasnt allowed to participate in.

IIRC her best friend didnt talk about Madeline ever coming to her house, just for the afternoon or after school. she was at Madeline's house, but in all those years that SS was living there, she only met him once?????

IMO, SS and JS made sure that Madeline's best friend would never be in his company long enough to form a first hand opinion of him. all this friend knew was what Madeline would tell her.
Gary Brucato said he thought MS was murdered because she'd become a threat in terms of disclosure, she needed to be "eliminated." SS had to "get rid of" the victim to preserve himself, to protect himself from some kind of disclosure. Something had changed for SS, something was on the horizon, something bad for him. And agreed, imo the jig for SS was going to be up soon. He knew it, I think JS sensed it. SS & JS broke up around Christmas 2022, I see sources suggesting this was because they were no longer intimate. The Christmas tree is still up in JS's room, they broke up around Christmas, and imo someone (JS?) was perhaps having difficulties accepting this breakup. So he was still regularly in that house with that Christmas tree marking time, so to speak. (Speculating, obviously)

MOO, I don't think this is a ring, I don't think he had any help in terms of an accomplice. He had help in the form of knowing the personality and routines of those he was in the home with, and he successfully exploited his position so he could commit his wicked deeds. Had he received actual assistance in his murder, he wouldn't in essence have handed himself over to authorities on a silver platter. I don't care what he's saying now, it's way too late for him to fool anyone, there's no, no doubt in my mind he'll be convicted of murder. I think he's an extremely, extremely stealthy predator but was out of his depths when it came to murder. SS does really seem to fit the Brucato "elimination murderer" mold. In the end, with someone like SS, he is the center of his universe and the universe he constructs around himself. (MOO, obviously.)

Yeah, that worked out really well for SS, didn't it? lol
