If her daughter was everything to JS, why wasn't she at her birthday party? A large FAMILY party?

People have asked this question and unless we got a more clear answer when I wasn't looking, people say it was maybe because she was working.

But if she was working from home for Disney on a Sunday night (I think) could she not have taken her laptop to where the party was? MOO.

When SS came back at 8:19 to the Soto apartment, do we know if he went inside before the alleged vape shop errand?

Would be interesting to know since one of JS' accounts as her seeing MS. getting dressed for school at 8am. So, she would (most likely) already be awake, right? Even though she was "too tired" to drive.

I think she knew MS was dead and if she was not directly involved she was covering for him and they spent the day, at minimum coming up with some half-assed, disgusting plan for what they would do to make it seem like MS ran away "to the woods."

It is probably more than this, but we have LE saying MS was deceased and moved from the Soto apartment in the "early morning hours" & JS saying she was awake to see MS getting ready by 8m, even if she was"too tired" to. drive.

When exactly was that reset done on SS ‘s phone. Before Maddie’s body was moved or after? I’m thinking after.

I followed a case here in Canada (Dellen Millard). Through back ups done on hard drives and cell tower technicology, LE was able to track the movement of the phones. They tracked victim and killer’s phones moving together at the same time. It was fascinating.

If factory resets were done at the same time, in the same place, LE will know. Wonder if a factory reset was done on Maddie’s phone.

Cell phones, in the hands of those that may be somewhat technically challenged, have become a Godsend to LE.

I wonder what JS said to LE about that morning. What time did she wake up and call SS to come take Maddie to school?, did she get up with Maddie and then not feel good so she called him, or did she stay in bed the whole time?
If she stayed in bed, how did she see Maddie getting dressed at 8 am? (Yes, I know she never did), if her bedroom is on the 1st floor and Maddie's is on the second floor, how did she see Maddie getting dressed? And if she was up at 8am and saw Maddie getting dressed, why didn't she just take her to school?.

If she saw her getting dressed, why didn't she speak to her? And if she knew she was forgetful, why didn't she remind her to take her phone?.

I'm sure I could find lots more holes to pick in her story, but I think these ones paint the picture just fine!.

Im starting to think that LE tracked phones and traffic cams and know exactly where he was and when. I think the pic of the car with a flat could be why they asked for anyone who might have seen him changing a flat. They may have noticed a gap in the travel time and then appearing again with a spare tire or maybe Ive watch too many episodes of "see no evil"

I am still muddled about JS's work and when she was working. I have read in here that she was a vacation planning ,very likely to have been working from home,and that she worked at Disney as a hotel congierge. Maybe she did both!

It seems plausible that Lincoln could get a flat easily if he drove off road somehow in it. I'm not really clear as to the exact location of MS remains, but having seen photos of the vehicle he was driving seems reasonable he could easily get a flat trying to dispose of her body.

I'm normally all for giving a parent some benefit of the doubt, however JS has clearly mislead LE. And doing so about when she last saw and spoke with her missing daughter is major. It isn't as if under stress she got MS Croc color confused or something, or misspoke and quickly apologized and corrected herself.

Yes, the phones will be a goldmine.

Sidney and Tammy Moorer (Heather Elvis case) reset their phones, but FBI data analysts were able to not only locate threatening text messages Tammy had been sending Heather but also track their every movement in the days leading up to her disappearance using the metadata and Google location information (even though their phones were iPhones). And that was 10 years ago!

Same thing with Kaitlin Armstrong (Moriah Wilson case). She had reset her phone but FBI analysts were to locate deleted pictures and messages and were able to determine how often and the exact dates/times she had looked at Moriah’s Instagram and Strava accounts. They were also able to track her movements to the apartment where Moriah was staying, knew how many times she had circled the block, how long she was there, etc.

The metadata from all of the cell phones will be invaluable.

I’m honestly curious about this-

Do you think that Jenn Soto used a filter in one interview and wasn’t able to on the other? Do you see the difference I do? If so is that a choice you have to make each time or is your device just set up that way on zoom or whatever? Links for source.

IMO it’s different lighting and lens focal lengths. Lenses with lower focal length (the background is in focus) have a slimming effect on faces. As focal length gets higher, the background is pulled forward, causing a blur effect but also widening the appearance of a face.

I too would like to know more about JS's hours that day. Who took and collected Maddie from the party. I know LE will have all this information ,but it is hurting my head trying to make sense of the information we currently have!

Do we have the documents that spell out the “ I saw Maddie at 8am getting dressed” statement from JS?
I only see it in news articles stated as “in newly released court documents JS stated she saw Maddie getting dressed at 8am”.
Has anyone seen that actual doc?

Depending on the style of black shorts, you could easily put a pair of jeans on over them. Thinking of lycra bike style shorts, for example, and/or if the jeans were a baggier fit, any basic shorts wouldn't be an issue.

So, it is possible MS was wearing black shorts the last time JS saw her, whenever that was, and then someone put jeans on over the shorts or instead of the shorts prior to dumping her body.

Edited: Or JS is making things up, because the black shorts outfit is part of The STory.

I don't think we know if that was the time the report was filed, or if that was when she first contacted law enforcement. We've heard her side of the story, saying that it was around 4:45 if I recall correctly. If true though, I can't imagine it would take that long for law enforcement to take a report. This could be another one of those pesky "inconsistencies."

I think the ~4:45 call to police was later confirmed from one of the court docket documents. Let me see if I can find it.

Also, is anyone having trouble accessing those docs on the clerk of court website? I’m in FL, so accessing shouldn’t be an issue…
