A Miami man already arrested for the alleged sexual battery of an 8-year-old and for alleged possession of child sexual abuse material is now facing charges related to the alleged sexual battery of an infant, police said.

Osher Joshua Pittman, 21, had been arrested back in May on a charge of sexual battery on a minor by an adult after an 8-year-old girl reported that she was inappropriately touched by him in his Allapattah apartment while her mother slept in another room, an arrest report said.

On Sept. 22, he was charged with 15 counts of possession of images showing a sexual performance by a child, and one count of possessing images showing a person engaged in sexual conduct with animals, Miami Police officials said.

In a Friday news release, police said they continued to investigate and review videos seized from Pittman that uncovered evidence of sexual battery of a 2-month-old child.

The MPD report states that Pittman and the girl are not related and the girl’s mother left the child under the care of Pittman’s mother from time to time while she was at work.

Police said they found the videos while reviewing a cellphone data extraction from the previous child sexual abuse material case and were able to recognize Pittman’s bedroom and identify the girl.
