UNSOLVED FL - Mandarin, Skeletal Remains in yard, Mar'11

Yes, and didn't they bring in a forensic team for the skull on Mandarin?

WHEN are we going to get some information on this. What can we do, as a team, to put pressure on the good ode boys down there? Anyone?

I agree with Lone that it is hard to believe that there are no good reporters investigating this. Just a thought :waitasec: Is it possible that reporters are asking about this and being turned away by LE for some reason?

Do we have any reporters here that might ask LE, as a reporter, not as a WS'er; anyone want to change their profession and become an investigative reporter? :seeya:

If Casey Anthony can be an event planner for Universal, I suppose I could be an investigative reporter.....:innocent:

Hi CC, Maybe we should team up and become reporters. Let's make a plan. Where do we start?
Just kidding.....I think.:waitasec:

Sounds good to me! I was in Palatka not long ago visiting a friend who was camping at Welaka which is just a few miles from Satsuma. When at stores or restaurants around there I would bring up the subject of Haleigh to almost everyone I came into contact with that were from that area and you know what .... no one believed the kidnapping story and almost all believed the Cummings were up to their eyeballs invovled in it. We drove around to Green Lane but my friend and her husband weren't that interested, if they had been I would have been all over talking to everyone!!! I'm sooooo nosey!!!

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh: OMG, I would do the same thing. It's amazing that most everyone shares the same theory with the exception of LE in that county. It's just daggone unAmerican!

Yep, it's kinda strange that Tim Miller was turned away and then Cobra was arrested, charged and nearly lost his license for his work because he was getting in too deep in that area. The press are not saying one word. I'm thinking that a gag order is being enforced by LE in that area and I want to know Why? Dang it. LE wants this to fade away. Period. Why?

Is it time to bring in Leonard Padilla? Say what you want, this man isn't afraid of anyone and I'm afraid that is what it is going to take to solve this case, ie., a man with gonads of steel. Not that I know this personally, mind you but something needs to happen.

  • #148
I'm certain they do Flossie, they must have. Whatever nefarious reasons they have are not being revealed to us.

At the rate things are moving along on this case, Ron will be out on the street before we know anything, if then.:maddening:

Or even Geraldo....maybe even Judge Judy!!! She'd get to the bottom of things!! I know it's weird how almost everyone there no doubts about who is involved and yet LE .... STILL NOTHING!!!!

Lone, you can join me and Nonni in our new reporters job!!! I'm sure between the 3 of us we would solve the case!!:woohoo:

Oh I'm positive that we as in WS posters have pretty much already done the investigation for this case, the problem, as I see it, is to get someone in the Legal part of it to pay attention. I am one of the posters on this site who think that LE is neglecting their duty to bring this case to a closed position. I think that there are some dark secrets that are at risk of being exposed if this case is investigated as it should be. IMO, it is going to take someone other than the local LE agency to solve this case. I really wish that we knew the rest of the puzzle. The parts that I feel are being covered over and hid from view. I do know that there is a major problem with drugs in this area and sometimes LE is paid to look the other way. We do know that Ronald was definitely involved in the drug trade. I feel that his participation and/or involvement with his daughter's death was not investigated without prejudice. In other words, someone involved with LE is either omitting evidence, or interferring with the effectiveness of the investigation. This case is being engineered to just die. The press appear to be under a gag order. Absolutely nothing is being talked about. Gossip is not happening. The locals are not coming forth. Neighbors are not coming forth. PDM is not coming forth. Ronald Cummings' enemies are keeping quiet. The Cummings' family appears to be protected, not because LE likes them (so to speak) but because someone else has forbid them to investigate this family in Haleigh's disappearance. Anything and everything has been publicized about Misty's family, nothing has been revealed about Ronald's family, why? Something is rotten and stinks to high heaven in Putnam County and in the state of Florida. I do think it goes beyond Putnam County.

I was extremely involved in WS during the JBR fiasco. I was on that day and night. I even struck up conversations with Don Gentile from the National Enquirer. He was great and shared much information with me.

Well, that is what we need now. We need the National Enquirer to go over there and dig. And DIG they will. It's just how can we get them interested in this case that doesn't have that much publicity?

Maybe if Tricia got in touch with them and played the `trailer park little girl that went missing and the police won't cooperate.' et al. Because if something like that doesn't happen, no matter how much we lament on the case in these posts, there will never be justice for little Haleigh.

Sorry I'm just now seeing your post. Why don't I come down and pick you up, and we'll head on over to Satsuma!! Do you think we'll be safe? I'm serious. we could both be investigative reporters. :great:

Wanna go to Satsuma with CC and me? There's strength in numbers. You could get away from those tornadoes in North Carolina. Nothing to worry about in Fla except allegators, and of course, the Cummings/ Neves/ Sykes gang.:floorlaugh:

It's a pretty area around there what with the St. John's river, lakes and moss draped trees and sandy unpaved roads like old time Florida. The people I talked to were long time residents and knows about almost everyone there and if they don't know them personally they know of them. Typical small town with friendly people who like to talk.

That being said, I'm surprised that more information wasn't gathered. :maddening: I have some info I found on the TN & others but I don't think I can post it here?

Cross, I believe you can post it if you have a link to the source to post. :waitasec: What do you have?

Although I disagree 100% with most posters here about who is 'guilty' of what happened to HaLeigh, you're exactly right!
Investigative reporters are sadly lacking in this case.

I would gladly chip in for gas/food/lodging if someone would just get out there and really dig around for information.

Happy Easter everyone. :)

IMO anyone digging around down there for information would soon realize they were digging their own grave..And that motley crew down there would make certain they put them in it....JMHO
ETA.. And I'm not kidding either..

Well, fellow poster, as much as I'd like to go there and sleuth with you, I would be too afraid, (referencing Em above.) I'm not a shy little thing and have investigated many things (professionally and unprofessionally) in my life, but we are talking about a whole different type of peope and atmosphere down there. And besides, unless you are trained and have first hand experience, (even if you did survive) whatever little tidbit, if any, you did find, would probably not help.

The only people I feel that could crack this case would be Tom Furman or the National Enquirer. Send Don Gentile and Tom down there. They are true professionals, know their stuff and would get the job done!

Now, how can we persuade them to get involved?
