You are very welcome and Thank You for hearing me out. Unfortunately, as I said, this case was only one of way too many that instilled the need in me that whatever the victim's family wants, I will support to the very end and not ever be turned from my stance on the Death Penalty. Sure, I will feel sorry for the executed one's family if this brings them pain, but if given the chance to speak directly to Schwab's mother and have her listen to my opinion that would might hurt her......I think not....a simple "I'm sorry" says it all.
I'm NOT laying a guilt trip on anyone, I'm simply stating my opinion. It's my opinion that the person who performs the execution is the same as the person being executed. It is NEVER right to kill another person, no matter the setting or the circumstances.
Of course we have the right. You're dead wrong about the person doing the executing being the same. You want to show some of these monsters compassion, that's up to you, but don't lay your guilt trip on the rest of us.
you may feel it is not right under any circumstance but thankfully the law does not agree. the law says if i shoot someone attacking me it is not murder but self defence and does not make me the same as Mark Dean Schwab. the law says if the state gives you a person a trial and they are found guilty the given the DP it is a execution and does not make the person delivering the drugs a murderer like Mark Dean Schwab. the law says if you act like Mark Dean Schwab and kidnap a child, then tie them up, beat them, rape them and kill them you are eligable for the DP.I'm NOT laying a guilt trip on anyone, I'm simply stating my opinion. As I have said, it's MY OPINION that the people who carry out the execution are no different than the condemned. Both are killers. You, and others here, obviously feel differently, as is your right. I am, and always have been, strongly anti-death penalty. If someone commits a crime such as this one, give them LWOP. You don't take someone's life to set the example for others, to say "killing is wrong and this is how you will be punished by being killed as well," IMO. That makes zero sense to me.you may feel it is not right under any circumstance but thankfully the law does not agree. the law says if i shoot someone attacking me it is not murder but self defence and does not make me the same as Mark Dean Schwab. the law says if the state gives you a person a trial and they are found guilty the given the DP it is a execution and does not make the person delivering the drugs a murderer like Mark Dean Schwab. the law says if you act like Mark Dean Schwab and kidnap a child, then tie them up, beat them, rape them and kill them you are eligable for the DP.
some people are of the opinion that meat is murder. if i eat chicken breast they feel i am the same as Mark Dean Schwab. they would be wrong.
if we are the SAME as Schwab if we execute him then by that logic we are the same as Josef Fritzl if we imprison him. after all if the circumstances of the taking of a life do not matter why would the circumstance matter when we deprive a man of his freedom?
WRONG!
The person who is going to do the world a favor today by executing this monster is not the same type of person who befriends, kidnaps, tortures, sodomizes and strangles children. I am also betting the executioner is not the same type of person who stands over the decaying body of a child and asks for 2 Whoppers and some cigarettes.
People like those who defend this man are the reason why Junny was raped and left to rot in the Florida sun! This man was shown pity and compassion by some bleeding heart wackos and was let out of jail where he was doing time for guess what??? RAPING A CHILD
Are you OK with that???
Do you want him to get back out and rape and murder again???
Because some wackos will let him out one day.. You know that for sure.
The same wackos who want this monster to live a full happy life in a plush prison.
No, the executioner may not be THAT type of person, but he will be taking a life, nonetheless. The person who is going to do the world a favor today by executing this monster is not the same type of person who befriends, kidnaps, tortures, sodomizes and strangles children. 1 hour and 10 minutes to go.

No, I don't want him free either. Life w/o possibility of parole would keep him from offending again.

Without stating an opinion on the DP I've always wondered what was meant in the bible about "an eye for an eye"? Does anybody know if that refers to the DP?
OTOH, I wonder how many innocent prisoners have been executed before the discovery of DNA. Who was it that said, "Better 10 guilty men walk free than 1 innocent man be executed" or something like that, I'm sure i botched that quote.
I just cannot imagine what this man is feeling right now. He's probably being given a Valium, as they do. I guess the DP is all about today for the prisoner. The day OF. Knowing that in 1 hour he will be led into the chamber and his life will end. I cannot imagine such terror. But I guess this is a day of reckoning.
I just cannot imagine what this man is feeling right now.
Which is all far more consideration and notice than his victims ever had.
It sounds as if you need some counseling. Maybe a CRIME WEBSITE isn't the best place for you to be reading given the horrific thing that happened to you.
