I have a question only.
When M exited the store, he appeared to be empty handed. I understood he went to make purchases. J got out of the car when she saw him. Is this because she had phoned him to let him know of the situation and felt safe in exiting the car?

that seems likely, or else maybe he observed the confrontation prior to paying and left his intended purchases. I know my husband would.

It was ASSAULT, and just because you're weaker and older, you don't have to meekly submit to a beating. You can defend yourself.

Is there some sort of protocol, prior to a confrontation, to determine who is older and who is weaker and then go from there? I'm in my 40's, but definitely weaker than my friend Janice, who is in her late 50's. Is there like, a curve, so all that's taken into account?

Also, was it just a visual assessment used to determine who was more weak in this particular case, or do you have information regarding the strength and conditioning levels of these men, or how exactly did you determine who was weaker? Does the assessment take into account variables such as adrenaline, history, amount of REM sleep the night before? Or is an assumption based on age? I want to make sure I've got all the facts so i know who I'm allowed to be afraid of and whatnot.

an old jerk who harasses women and children and threatens ppl w shooting. no sympathy at all here. wish the dad got another lick in before he was assassinated. shame.

I would imagine dad would have gotten another good lick or two or three in before D pulled the gun. Let's not forget M's history of violence. In the past he's been arrested for aggravated assault.

And Drejka's history of harassment and threatening to shoot people?

He was walking away. WTF do you get this??

He was walking away and that's why he was shot in the chest? Maybe we will find out something different after the autopsy.

I don't understand your question. Your nasty acronym can mean one of two things.

Its unbelievable how this wasnt even a close call, he was 10 feet away walking away when Drejka shot him. If you have to do mental gymnastics to try to paid Drejka as a hobbled old man and Markeis as a raving agressor then you have serious issues and might need some self reflection time
You might want to check your picture again. Five feet at the most separated the two men and if you think the Drejka was anywhere near the other man's league, you'll have to prove it with a link. It was a bully's move to assault that poor man in the first place. Right out of left field. Why couldn't the younger man actually speak to the older man first? Why start out with violence? The video is scary and Dreijka was in serious danger before he pulled out his gun.
By the way, you really need to Google the requirements for a concealed carry permit. Then you will understand why people say Dreijka had a pristine background.

again 47 is not old. im 43 and I would go toe to toe w anyone who wanted to assault me. so would my 49 year old husband.
Not me, I will never allow anyone to assault me. I will rely on my CCW. There is no law requiring me to submit to a beating from anyone. So, no, I will never "go toe to toe" with anyone.

and this is why we can't ever have a REAL discussion about gun control in this country.

Too much of life is subjective.

D was poor? Can you provide a link?
Oh, you man he was weak? Prove it.

D was in serious danger? How can anyone ever know?

I beg to differ. I’ll leave it at that.

Yes, he was walking away. feet pointed away, hips pointed away. He looked at the shooter. This pic claerly shows him walking AWAY from Drejka, and Drejka pointing his gun at M's chest as M looks at him.

Look at the feet and hips going the opposite direction. No way he can charge him facing that direction
