I am going for a woman accomplice. The baby came from somewhere. He apparently saw the baby. So who is the woman?

He has a current wife with whom he had a child.

From link:

Omar Mateen and his wife, N*** Z*** S*****, visited Walt Disney World in April, the source says. Salman told federal authorities on Sunday that her husband had more recently been "scouting Downtown Disney and Pulse [nightclub] for attacks."

Here's a woman who will never work again for making racist and insensitive "jokes," But a mosque INVITES a homophobic speaker to preach a vile muderous ideology and...oh no...can't do anything. No. No. Have to let them have freedom to speak.

No we don't. That's a political ideology that's killing our children and our neighbors. We can do plenty.

To start, why did this creep have a job...what political correctness meant HE could spew misognist, racist, and hnophoboc dialogue in the workplace....but this woman cannot? Pleased explain? Why is he exempt! Why is he entitled? Huh?

Fire them both. Deny him welfare, food stamps...and if he doesn't like it. Go to the country with Sharia laws that he prefers.

It's a win..win. He'd be happier not seeing Gays kissing. Many, many people would still be alive...families would not be broken from grieving.

We don't have to tolerate this.

If we have the gumption,,there's plenty we can do.

Yes. It is hard to love someone who has killed your family. People in other nations love their children no less than we do. I like the song "The Eve of Destruction " by Barry McGuire from almsot 50 years ago. It could have been written today.

Hate us in your own country. Stay there.
Leave here..if you were born here..and go to the Sharia country of your choice.

We ARE on the Eve of Destruction.

The assertion was that a US citizen can't be deported. The assertion wasn't limited to naturally born citizens.

If we had deported his daddy, or refused to let daddy in, there might be 100 people today who weren't shot Saturday night.

Unfortunately, the ones who oked the parents to live here couldn't foresee the future. :(

What demeanor? I think it's the same exact demeanor as THE OTHER SEVENTEEN SPEECHES he's given following the PREVIOUS SEVENTEEN MASS SHOOTINGS, beginning with the mass murder of the women and children at Sandy hook. Sorry for the emphasis, but I'm just about to go cross-eyed with trying to figure out where in the world some of these (throughout the thread) dubious claims come from. Do we just make up anything we wish were true and present it as fact now?

I am with you, Elley. I am really sick and tired of the demeanor the President always displays when another Islamic terrorist murders more of our innocent people here.

It is very dismissive of the victims who died and the others who were wounded, some of them critically clinging to life. In the end it does not matter if he had ties to ISIS or not. His sick ideology and hatred is why all of these victims are dead and wounded whether he has international ties to ISIS or was one very dangerous lone wolf. It doesn't change one thing about this horrific attack done by a hate filled Muslim extremist.

It might be. But, I've been listening to the WFTV newscast which has been streaming and their reporter is saying that it is someone who might be in another part of the state or another state altogether. They are putting together all the records and documents they need and expect to make an arrest in the next two days.

Also, they will cover and stream the candlelight vigil tonight at 7 PM EDT.

Honestly, I'm really physically sick at the ignorance and blatant bigotry I'm seeing being expressed openly throughout this thread. It makes me sick to see people just flat-out making things up to support whatever their own prejudices are. I honestly thought the people were different at this forum (and better than this behavior). UGH.

No, and that's why we need to be ultra-super-duper careful about who we let into the US. Non-citizens who want to enter do NOT have any right to enter the US. We should require that they prove that they're not terrorists or terrorist sympathizers, AND that they have something to contribute to this country. We should vet them six ways from Sunday. If they can't prove who they are... they don't get in. If they don't have a squeaky-clean record, they don't get in. We err on the side of safety for US citizens. That will mean that some deserving people won't get in. That's okay with me. If we had been a little tougher in scrutinizing OM's father back in the 80s, there might be 100 people today who weren't shot on Saturday night.

So when daddy was accepted into US, people who accepted him should have been able to predict that this daddy was going to have a child who was going to grow up to be a terrorist (30 years into the future?) How would you expect them to do that?

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. As Americans, we have the right to say most anything we please w/o the the government penalizing us. That does not mean that your employer, friends, family, etc... have to tolerate anything you wish to say, nor that they can't shame you for saying stupid stuff or stuff they disagree with, especially if you decide to post your thoughts online. (Btw, most employers in America can fire you just because they want to, no reason.) Now, if you are inciting others to commit a crime, making true threats against someone, or sharing stuff such as child 🤬🤬🤬🤬, than that can land you in trouble but it's still a fine line (well, except the child 🤬🤬🤬🤬). Hope this helps.

The crazy "teacher" of his?

That's who I'm thinking. I heard some reference to the possibility of another arrest on CNN this morning. It was vague, but it was in the context of the radical "teacher" he had been following.

Based on what I've seen reported about him, this was never his country, even though he was a citizen.

I will never apologize for hating Islamic terrorists. Yes, I am bigoted against them. Proudly.

OM wasn't even born yet when his father immigrated into US.

I apolgize for bringing this up. However, it is bewildering that so many fatalites have yet to be claimed.

I fear that a lot of these familes have rejected and thrown out their gay sons when they came out, and have nothing to do with them .

This is very very common in hispanic family systems. It was Latin night.

Latino men reported the highest number of negative family reactions to their sexual orientation in adolescence.

That's even more heartbreaking!

How does a young person (any terrorist, not just this one) become so disillusioned by life and so filled with hate, that killing many others in your suicide is an option.

Most of us here can state......My child would never do this.
How do we know?

Those who are of the view that Muslims should be denied entry to the US. I ask with all due respect. Will you stop them visiting as well?
Guns are easily accessible in the US for those with a little cash to splash.
A terrorist could slip in amongst the millions of tourists each year and still kill many people.

Or worse, you will lose the tourist dollars, student dollars, and healthcare dollars of legitimate Muslims who visit.
How will you know who the Muslims are?

When family and friends are made to feel unwelcome in your country, US born Muslims may leave, taking their skills with them.
Do not expect to be welcomed in any Muslim country in country tit for tat.

When you have rid yourself of all the Islamic terrorists (and Muslims) take a look at your annual mass shooting numbers, they may fall to pre 2001 levels. You will now be free to work on homegrown mass shooters.

The only way to stop the attacks is to stop young people becoming radicalized, to do that you will need to understand how and why it happens. This involves a dialogue, this will be difficult if there is no one left to talk to.

Government has to play their part too. There are as many answers as there are questions, but your country isn't able to lock the windows, switch on the alarm system and keep the world out.

BTW. If every country that had US immigrants in their penal systems decided to deport them in reciprocation, you will need a few more jails.
