Mentally unhinged narisstic psychopath certaintly would inless he was communicating through messenger to someone or post to a group of people. The attack on the chief of Police in Paris was posted live on Facebook Live. Livestreaming two murders and asked what should I do to the child. ugh...

I heard somewhere - and only heard it once - no link to back it up - so take it for what it is - that he did call his wife during the massacre

If that is, in fact, true - then it would have been hard for wifey to say she didn't know what he was planning, which could be why she is "coming clean" about it

It just feels like the media is being sleezy with this angle. The comments seem very vague. If one knows she drove him to a gunstore, then why isn't the story.

Four days before the shooting, drove to the gunstore in XXXX. The lack of specificty makes me think it has been "padded".

How could you not know WHEN this ride happened if you know a ride happened??

The dropping him off at the club, when that night? NO we have his van. But the media has her spying with him, buying weapons with him etc etc

Not quite. The intent -- if not the actual wording -- of my question was more along the lines of "what idiot came up with those quidelines?" So okay, Director Mueller approved them. Appointed by Bush, extended by Obama. But who wrote them? I'm sure Mueller didn't write them.

Who thought it was a good idea to write guidelines that tie the FBI's hands so restrictively with respect to the threat of terrorism? Why?

From comments above and what I've read elsewhere, my visual picture is he went inside, started shooting, the security officer came in and returned fire to him. He ran into the bathroom where men had run to hide and he started shooting them?
There were about 30 people in the bathroom, how many got out alive?

If the above is anywhere close to accurate, I would call him a coward!! What mass murderer runs and hides?

We know -- or at least, I think we know -- that he had 2 guns with him at the shooting. Do we know how many he had that he didn't have with him? Do we know how many he has owned in the past? I'm asking seriously; maybe we do know and I missed it. But I don't think we know that yet.

I cant link to the site where I read this earlier since it is not MS media site so take with a grain of salt. Also it may have been a long time ago and maybe he didn't even have these anymore. Article said he owned a Smith + Wesson 38 caliber handgun and also a 9mm handgun. Not sure if those were for his previous security jobs or whether he even still owned them or not.
Also not sure if the 9mm maybe the same Glock that he had with him.

The article below talks about the 2 he had with him. These 2 we know for sure he had with him. Ill search for any reference to his other guns he may have owned at one time or another.

The former classmate also claimed she lived in constant fear of Mateen due to his relentless bullying of her, and even in middle school, he threw chair and spat at teachers.

The school district have so far refused to comment on the claims.

They come after reports that while Mateen was a sophomore in high school, attending a Spectrum Alternative School, a school for students with poor grades or behavioral issues, he cheered during the 9/11 attacks.

He had a lot of red flags.

Exactly my thoughts. We know of 2 guns he had with him. We can assume these 2 guns were the only guns he owned, or we can assume there were additional guns in the parked rental vehicle, in his wife's possession, at home, in a vehicle he owned, at his father's home, etc.
my point is, we know that there were at least 2 guns; but we don't know if he owned additional personal guns. IMO, high probability.

His father called him "gay" in front of her on one occassion.

Islam religion gay not ok especially with his father being in political arena. Family disagreed with gay lifestyle.
